The female owner is very nice and helpful. The man wasn't so much bothered with us. That's ok the empanada was very tasty but also tiny. The cuban was delicious but no fritas. My arroz was just plain and simple. The beans were very tasty and seasoned.

Breakfast review time! I've loved this little spot since I first tried their Media Noche, and finally made it in for some to-go breakfast burritos. Their hours are spotty due to a health issue in the family (our thoughts are with Rosa!), but when they're open, boy do they deliver the goods! I love me a chorizo breakfast burrito and after trying plenty around town, I stopped in here before work to try theirs out. I was greeted immediately by the owner and placed my order. In just a few minutes, I was handed these beautifully wrapped burritos. Full of flavor with perfectly cooked potatoes, wonderfully set scrambled eggs and tender chorizo, and their medium salsa still has quite a kick to it! Multiple bonuses - they're "Becki-sized" (I find it hard to finish a whole burrito in one sitting, and I was still barely able to finish this one) and the price is ridiculously low! I'll be stocking up for some staff meetings in the future to support, and to share the goodness that is Babalu's!

Frank and Rosa hosted an event for the NoCo climate groups - wow -- great location ... great food ... and (most importantly) great people ... Love this place -- I will be back!

Delicious Cubano and Café con leche for my birthday-perfect!

Still as good as good as ever! If you've got a craving for Cuban coffee, food, and pastelitos-this is the place. They bake their own bread too!! Owned by a wonderful local family. Service is always good and their updated seating area is nice.

Update: Yay for the grand reopening after construction and adding a dining room! We love the space, the food, the service. Friendliest family owned restaurant in Foco so far. Amazing flavors and pastelitos!

The music, décor, and welcoming staff make the experience feel authentic and special. The service is spectacular. The owner and her daughter greet and serve guests like family, which makes every visit feel personal. We've been coming here for over 12 years and often celebrate milestones and special occasions here. Our daughter loves the Tallarín Saltado, and my husband recently discovered the Parrillada Peruana, a steak plate that's now his new favorite. My go-to is the Lomo Saltado, which never disappoints. And the flan is simply the best. If you like flan, this one is outstanding. On a recent visit we tried a weekend dessert special, Picarones--light, squash-based doughnuts served with a syrup flavored with anise and other spices. They were delicious. We highly recommend Rosario's for both the food and the warm, family-style hospitality.

So we made our way to Mountain Cowboy Brewing and Cuban Fusion to satisfy our three needs. ++ The staff was super friendly and on point with their recommendations and knowledge of their menu. Not to mention speedy! We got our meals in easily under fifteen minutes. Perfect for my grumbling belly. ++ The portions were large! My husband and I each opted for the Cubano: roasted pork, ham, swiss cheese, pickles and mustard on pressed Cuban bread with a side of fries each. Holy YUM! Our sandwiches were served up on a literal mountain of perfectly crisp fries. ++ The pricing was on point! At a mere $23 for both meals my wallet wasn't hurting after our dinner outing. ++ You can tell that there's passion behind each dish. They are carefully crafted an balanced to perfection! There was so much flavor in our sandwiches that I'm still drooling. Cuban Fusion was such a deliciously killer food truck! I can't wait for my next opportunity to try more of their delicious food-fare. Parking: easy, in a lot with many spaces. Food: Empanadas - shell was crispy and well-cooked. The shredded chicken filling was good, nothing special but still tasty. Would try a different filling next time. Overall rating 3/5. Cuban sandwich - the bread was thicker and more "sub"-like than many cubanos I have had in the past. Also had garlic cloves in it which was a nice surprise (I love garlic). Came with rice and beans. Pretty good, would get again. Overall rating 4/5. Ropa vieja - comes with beans and rice. Quite salty on its own, but balances out nicely when eaten with rice. Would get again. Overall rating 4/5. Guava & cheese empanada dessert - same size as the appetizer empanada. Delicious! The cream cheese goes very well with the guava and is well-balanced. Would get again. Overall rating 5/5.
