This place is absolutely delicious, everything I have ever tried here is great and the people are friendly.

Look no further for a bakery! Just go. Really, just go. Don't order the full sandwich unless you'd like to eat it for days, or are sharing, it's HUGE! That's not a bad thing in my opinion. Lol. Their bread is amazing and everything between it is super fresh. I can also rave about their blackberry danish, damn it is crispy, flakey, with a tart cheesy custard, and plump rich blackberries. Freakin amazing! However, the most fabulous find at Babe's isn't baked. It is their SOUP! Why is it only seasonal??? People don't care if it is 120 degrees outside, they will still eat your most delectable soups even still! I have had 4 different soups and could rave on and on about all of them - Tuscan tomato, and Chicken and wild rice I am craving right now. Babe's is a pretty spendy place, but we'll worth it. This place is a hidden gem! Went there for breakfast on our way through Grants Pass and ordered the Crossanwich. It was heavenly!!!!!!! They had a huge selection of delicious looking pastries and such and a great menu with fun and interesting entrees! Service was very quick and friendly. Love this place. To be honest, I haven't tried any of their more savory offerings like sandwiches, so this review is more about their sweet rolls. And for that sort of specialty, this place serves up done if the best. Their cinnamon rolls are big, soft and buttery with a nice hit of cinnamon. Ordered 2 chicken salads one was for a friend.They were delicious. Large portions and lots of different veggies. I had ranch dressing and my friend had blue cheese. Both were very good. We shared a apple dessert that was delicious. Not sure what it was called but very tasty. read more

All I can say is WOW! They had something called a Bacon & Pesto manish...I love pesto so I had to give it a try. Delish! I also had a cookie and it was awesome. I will definitely go back, this time to try the lunch menu. read more

Several employees staying busy serving their drive thru and restaurant patrons. Wait was pretty long @ 20 minutes. I could only imagine what it would be at noon. Traffic built up as it got later in the morning. It's all about that bread baby! Damn, sooo goood!! Soft, Cushy, Moist, Flavour! The chicken reminded me of turkey and it was just ok; close to the dry side, but not quite there. A lot of ingredients made this pretty 'busy' on the palette, but not bad overall. Sandwich itself is massive. Will be 2 meals for sure, so the way I look at it, about $6 per sandwich which is a great value! Went here in the afternoon after a long bike ride with a couple friends. I got an Americano and a scone and friend got a sandwich. The food and the service were good. We sat outside and enjoyed the outdoors, but could've sat inside. The place is clean and has a fair amount of options for food and drink. If I lived here, I would go back often. read more

This has got to be one of the best sandwich places ever! I always stop on the drive to Seattle and the sandwiches are so huge I eat half for lunch and save the other half to eat for dinner in my hotel room. They are not inexpensive but they are SO worth the price. The "Katie Girl" is so yummy. They also have amazing looking desserts but I don't know who has room for them after those sandwiches. UPDATE 8/23/21 I thought I'd try them one more time and give them a 5th shot... no dice. 10:30 am and they're basically our of every thing they could sell. After asking for 3-4 different things we just left. What a joke. -------- Their food is pretty good and they made GF stuff which helps for my wife. All that's great if you can ever find them open or go inside and find they have any actual food to sell you. They recently made the decision bc of "staffing" to close on all Saturdays. Mind you they don't open on Sundays normally!! And on top of that I have had the experience of going inside midweek around noon, and pretty much all their baked goods are sold out. All signs point to bad management and bad ownership. When you own a business and you can't hire people, it's time to put on the apron and work it yourself. Maybe they are and the unemployment "pay me not to work" incentives are affecting them like so many other places, but The decision to close on Saturday's is really irritating to say the least. read more

The worst pies ever! Not even edible. Pumpkin, pecan, and rhubarb. Mush! Old, crumbly, and had a freezer burn taste. Yuck!!! Taking all 3 back tomorrow. Embarrassing to bring these to my family for Thanksgiving because I don't bake pies myself but that's what I decided to bring since everyone else cooked while I took the year off due to foot surgery. Next time I will use a wheel chair and bake pies myself if need be. Not even my grandchildren liked them. No way are these pies made here fresh. read more

My first time here about a week ago, and when I'm back in town I will be coming back 100%. They are all so kind here, and so welcoming. I had the bootie buster, and the naked & famous smoothie. I also had the grilled cheese, make sure to ask for it double toasted, it's the best!!! The workers are so kind, such a great place to have breakfast or lunch. They also have a drive-thru! Oh wow. I'm bummed. I've been craving a clam chowder, and I remembered Babes was awesome. So asked my wife to grab me the take home for my lunch Saturday. Fresh baked goods daily?! Well, if I'm having some kind of bread, might as well have the best! Okay, croissants may not be bread, but I really do like them, and my stomach does better with them than breads. The croissant I had was indeed flaky and buttery, and the service was friendly.
