Four (and a half) solid stars. My visit just 8 days ago found just one employee working and a family of four ahead of me. The lady working the establishment by herself got them served promptly, and took my order, which was the BB Pastrami Sandwich (roll, pastrami, mustard, cheese and pickles with a side of au jus) and an order of French Fries. I'm not a fan of au jus with my pastrami (beef dip is a different thing!!), but the side was ok, and the sandwich itself and fries were delicious and not skimpy portions. Yes I'd gladly make a return visit here and am looking fwd to it. The ambiance was very different than the former shop here that closed, and both the ambiance and the food are definite and notable upgrades. Food was excellent, fresh topping and plenty of it. Ordered a turkey and Swiss sandwich, and a chicken ceasar wrap, and fries. Fries were Hot as they should be. Defiantly worth the stop. read more

Food 4/5 Service 5/5 Ambience 3/5 Tried for the first time today. I had 1/2 of the Big Block Grinder. It was Great! Bread was soft with a satisfying slight crunch. Meat was plentiful veggies were fresh. Only slightly negative would be the big block sauce was too heavy causing things to kinda fall apart. I would have preferred a less sweet more vinegar based sauce, and less of it. The place is clean, bare bones and kinda a 50s vibe. Service was quick and friendly. Had bad directions from Yelp but thankfully saw it as we were driving by. Very cute little sandwich shop and very friendly owner? Or staff. Super helpful and informative. I had BLT and it was delicious! Very good tasting bacon and a lot of it! Fresh bread and warmed it was awesome. I am picky about my BLTs so this was a good pick! Husband had the club sandwich and it was jam packed with so much meat and he really liked it. We will be back. This place deserves a chance they obviously work hard to make it a pleasurable experience. We ate outside it was a nice day and the tables and umbrellas were perfect. A little loud with traffic but can always eat inside also. I recommend coming here. Oh husband also had a huckleberry shake that was super yum! read more

The staff is really nice. I would recommend the Big Block Club it's delicious. My wife and I split a whole sandwich and were full. It's a nice twist on a club house sandwich with a sweet honey sauce. Next time we're passing through we'll definitely stop. read more

Great new sandwich shop in town. We stopped in and got a grinder and pepperoni sandwich. Place was very clean and welcoming. The lady in front was very helpful. Our sandwiches came within 10 minutes . They were so good! The grinder had these large slices of plump tomato and other veggies which really made the sandwich along with the perfect blend of spices. The pepperoni sub looks simple but boy oh boy is it good. They crisp up the pepperoni and YUMMMMM is all I gotta say. The sauce had the right zing too. What I loved was the chef even came out and asked our opinion and if we'd change anything. All we suggested was displaying the price of the chips but everything else was great. We've already begun planning which sandwiches we'll try on our next visit. Highly recommend! read more

Had there beef brisket sandwich.. so good...maybe the best I've ever had. The meat is sliced thick, it's moist with very little fat. The pairing with the coleslaw and beans is nice.. loved the pickles on it. The restaurant is clean and fresh. I'm so glad to have a place that delivers a solid 5 star brisket sandwich in town.
