Additional items were cheese and broccoli, sour cream, and chives, bacon, bits, and jalapeños. We also added a tray of collard greens, Black Eyed Peas and cornbread. Boy! Our photographer connected us with Sandra, saying she was the best in the business, and from our first call, we knew we could put her faith in her. From the initial call, we knew we wanted to work more closely with Sandra than just the day of, and we asked her to be our lead-up coordinator. Together, she helped us put together a timeline that was more realistic than our initial, and made sure that everything we wanted on our special day was there: spending quality time with our guests, incorporating a Chinese tea ceremony, and even helping with the mics during the ceremony! Sandra did an amazing job stepping in with vendor communications, making sure we had everything in place before we even stepped in the venue. She seamlessly helped all our disparate pieces marry--from chargers we brought to plates we rented (making sure nothing got mixed up!)--and all our guests noticed every detail we planned together. At the end of the day, our officiant turned to me, an absolute control freak, and said, "Sandra must have really earned your trust. You were really just having fun!" And it was true! The day ran so smoothly--and I was oblivious to any hiccups (they were so easily handled). If I could do it again with Sandra, I would a thousand times over.

She was endlessly patient with me when I couldn't make up my mind and wanted constant changes -- never once made me feel annoying or difficult, just supportive and flexible every step of the way. The week of my wedding, we found out there was a high chance of rain, and I was completely overwhelmed. She immediately reached out to THREE different tent rental companies last minute, got quotes from all of them, and supported me through a lot of tears with so much kindness and reassurance. On the actual wedding day, I truly didn't have to lift a finger. Everything ran so smoothly, and if anything went wrong, I still have absolutely no clue about it -- which says everything. Even after the wedding, when I didn't receive something I was promised from a vendor, she stepped in and helped communicate with them to make it right. We found Brooke by searching for wedding planners that had worked with our venue (Timber Cove Resort) before. Having worked there before, it was a huge plus that she already knew the coordinators and had cultivated relationships with trusted vendors who were familiar with the property. This insider knowledge made our planning process very smooth. We decided to go with the partial planning package, which fit our needs well. Early in the planning process, we'd spend time researching vendors on our own as well as ask Brooke for her recommendations, then reach out to the vendors on both of our lists. We found ourselves choosing her suggestions almost every time. Her industry experience and keen eye for quality vendors became obvious very quickly, yet she never made us feel pressured to go with any particular choice. She simply provided excellent options and let us make the decisions. Throughout the entire process, Brooke was incredibly mindful of our budget. In our very first meeting, she showed us a detailed budget from a previous wedding she did at our venue and walked us through each line item, pointing out areas where we might want to allocate more or less based on our priorities. This level of transparency and attention to detail immediately gave us confidence in her approach. Her communication style was exactly what we needed. We often sent her emails late at night, and Brooke would consistently respond first thing the next morning with clear, comprehensive answers. There was not a single time that she didn't address a concern in one of our emails, even when we sent her massive lists. While our contract only covered the wedding day itself, we had planned a Welcome Dinner the night before and a Farewell Brunch the day after that we intended to handle ourselves. She went above and beyond by helping us order linens from the rental company and create layouts for these extra events. Me and my husband got the middle-tier package, which did not include budget and vendor payments (note: this package excludes reminders to pay vendors as well). Echo's approach to wedding planning is methodical and well-organized. For instance, she created a dedicated folder where she would post/remove deliverables incrementally as we went through the process. That way, we did not feel overwhelmed since she already broke down the steps into smaller, manageable pieces. Or, another great example is organizing our email communications by different work streams so that we could easily refer to conversations by topic, and not lose track of items when discussing multiple vendors at once. Echo was always quick to reply on every communication platform. We trusted Echo not only for her planning skills, but also for her local knowledge of vendors. We followed her recommendations under the assumption that she would put together an excellent team to execute our vision.
