She was prompt in her communications and very helpful in recommending processional and recessional selections (including providing sample files for us to listen to). We even requested Daft Punk's Get Lucky for our recessional music and Angela was able to accommodate us and secure the sheet music for the duo (with no extra cost to us). The musicians were Wendy and David, and they did a great job! They fit right into the vineyard setting, and were not visually intrusive whatsoever. I remember feeling like I was in a movie with lovely background music! For someone who didn't care about the music at all, I am really happy we decided to go with live musicians, and even more happy that we went with the Wine Country Duo. We told her what kind of music we'd like played at the wedding and she made suggestions. She had the group play exactly what we wanted and it couldn't have been more perfect. The trio played beautifully :-) For the ceremony they played traditional songs and for the cocktail hour they played contemporary American ballads. Originally we were going to have the trio play during the cocktail hour for our wedding that was outside the V Sattui Winery, but decided to move our party inside because it was just a little cold outside. Wine Country Entertainment were great about being flexible and understanding about the change. We definitely recommend them for special events.

The planning process was seamless. I was so impressed with the attention to detail at the wedding venue walkthrough. We walked the entire venue, bounced ideas off each other for placement of every single item, and built a schematic. They even measured the venue to know exact placement of tables, chairs, etc. Planning the wedding was so easy/smooth thanks to the planning tools and check ins. Our rehearsal was straight to the point and very easy. We didn't need the full two hours allotted by our venue because they were on top of everything! Then came the wedding day. Our bridal salon overlooked the venue, so we were able to see the progress throughout the day. THEY WORK HARD!! and I mean, they pay attention to every single little detail to make sure the place looks beautiful and perfect. It was so impressive, we all couldn't stop talking about it. The wedding day went seamless, on time, and without a single issue. Jessica and LaShawna were there every step of the way, speaking to each other through their own personal headpieces. Both in word and deed, Jon and Jessie upheld the important balance of our preferences and dreams for the wedding, while still challenging and guiding us into efficient solutions and execution. They are averse to dominating or controlling the wedding event, and seek to orient themselves around the couple's goals. They listened patiently to our ideas, sometimes even sacrificing their own opinions. They visibly shared our excitement about the highlights of the day. But at the same time, they were quick to suggest alternative ways of the details of our day. They were quick to step up and take over details that we were too busy or too forgetful to remember. Their firm direction was essential to making the day come together so perfectly. 2) They add delightful, unanticipated personal touches. Jon and Jessie both personally created or oversaw little decorations and details that we did not expect. Some of these details ended up really making the day. Jon worked to get a large, custom-painted wooden sign with our name on it up at the front of the property, something we didn't expect. 3) They are encouraging to be around. Weddings are an extremely stressful time. Jon and Jessie bring the tension and stress down by their cheerful, cooperative presence. As a couple, they are perfect together, complimenting each other and their ideas. Working together, they offered us endless kind words and hope for the day. This made all the difference -- having a team of coordinators that are constantly upbeat, humble and cheerful is a rare thing. They are genuine to the core, and this will put any wedding event and those involved at ease. In addition, I attended a wedding a month later in Petaluma, CA that they coordinated as well, as was just as impressed! I would highly recommend this dynamic duo. My wife contacted Alex and booked him for our September 2026 wedding. She booked the date over a year in advance (around August 2025) paying him close $2,000 as a deposit. In April of 2026, my wife and I found out that I had stage 4 cancer and would have to immediately undergo chemotherapy due to the aggressive form of cancer. We threw together a last minute wedding in a few weeks after diagnosis and had to cancel the September wedding due to me being knee deep in chemotherapy come September 2026. I would likely not be strong enough or healthy enough to have the wedding in September. My wife contacted all of the wedding vendors including the venue who all returned our deposits in full due to the unfortunate diagnosis of Stage 4 cancer. Everyone was completely understanding of our situation and were happy to help us out in returning money we had paid them in advance. My wife contacted DJ Alex and asked for the deposit back after explaining to him our circumstances. Alex contacted my wife and said she had signed a contract and that the deposit was non- refundable. Now, I will say that I agree she did sign a contract and I understand those contracts are meant for businesses to be taken care of financially in case of a last minute cancelation since their time is worth money - of course. My wife explained to Alex that I was going to be going through chemotherapy and was diagnosed with cancer 6 months in advance of the wedding date and that's the reason for the cancelation. Unfortunately, Alex refused to refund all or ANY of the deposit to my wife. I understand the contract was signed but to keep $2,000 when the reason for the cancelation is a righteous reason (Stage 4 cancer) and it was cancelled 6 months prior to the wedding, seemed absolutely and completely heartless. I wouldn't recommend this business one bit. We were upset and saddened by the decision Alex made to not refund any or all of the refund given the tragic circumstances. I'm all for businesses needing to get paid but this just seemed completely heartless and upsetting for my wife and I.

From the beginning she made it clear what the timeline would look like for our partnership - what would be needed and when. When I became a little overwhelmed half-way through planning, Tyler was able to pick up additional scope of work which was a huge relief at the time. She also saved me a huge headache by picking up and dropping off some of my rental items since the minimum order spend for delivery was more than double my rental quote (my wedding was in a pretty remote area so most companies charged a high fee for delivery). Tyler was very thoughtful and organized about the little details I didn't think of which showcases her high degree of experience and attention to detail. She wasn't afraid to push on things on behalf of myself and my husband with our wedding venue - which I really appreciated! We had great communication throughout the wedding planning process - centralizing information in a shared Google doc. Tyler was willing to review my own personal wedding planning documents as well. She was always quick to respond to emails or texts, and also let me know in advance if she was going to be delayed in responding. She kept things moving in the wedding day so we kept pace with the timeline. She made sure to account for all the logistical things like where to store decor items before and after the event. She was fantastic at corralling all the wedding vendors, collecting all the documents and information and knew when to keep me in/out of the loop at all times.
