I was sent to Dr. Figueroa by my dentist at Princeton…read more The problem was - a cracked tooth that needed extraction and implant placement thereafter. Upper left. I read all about implants and when I saw the doctor and spoke to him, he knew every single bit of information I was prepared to ask about. A smart gentlemen! He gave comprehensive and detailed information, no BS, just substance. Extraction was a breeze. Started with no-pain anesthesia (Raul is using a cool technique to make sure you don't feel pain from the needle). Tooth was out in no time. Bone graft in place. Stitches were placed so quickly I did not have time to notice (confident stitches are a sign of a very skilled surgeon). Healing was pain free. I did not use any pain meds and all pain was gone by day 3. Bone graft was installed perfectly and tooth was ready for implant in 3 months. Next, the implant. 3D scan, surgery on the same day, did not use pain meds at home, was pain-free after about 3 days. A week after placing the implant I felt my mouth free from any hints I had surgery. I am very impressed. Dr. Figueroa is a thinking surgeon with outstanding hands. A.K. The hygienist also did a fantastic job with my cleaning. What really stood out to me was how much they prioritize patient comfort and education. They made sure I understood my treatment options and took the time to answer all my questions. Dr. Loutfi is not only an experienced dentist but also just a nice person to be around. He is one of the few dentists I have I have known that actually volunteered to be a dental resident at Monmouth Hospital for one year after he completed his schooling. I needed an extraction and all went seamless i was told the part i would be responsible for and paid it and then all of a sudden i get a bill for $200 because they said it wasnt covered due to a waiting period which dont you think they would have checked first? Dr Lee gets 5 stars, whoever does the authorizations etc gets a 1. This is no way to treat a patient I would have sucked it up and waited on the extraction had I known. The last time I visited there was a different receptionist than normal. I paid in cash for services rendered. Either they have poor record keeping or the receptionist stole the money. They called and sent numerous letters. I explained to them I paid the $100 at the time of service. They sent the $100 to collections and it impacted my credit. Do not pay them in cash as they may misplace your payment and insist you pay again or threaten to send you to collections over a $100.
