Best Dentist I have ever been to. Everyone in the office was so welcoming and friendly. And Dr. Lyons is the best. She replaced fillings on 4 teeth that were 10 plus years old. I usually hate the dentist but I was so comfortable at this Office and Dr.Lyons made the whole process painless. I now am much more confident and comfortable with my smile. This was the best experience I've ever had at the dentist. I'm normally very nervous about going to the dentist but from the moment I walked in, to the moment I left, I was greeted with warm smiles and friendly company. The staff gave me sunglasses to wear so the light was not bothersome, and the dentist went as far as explaining to me how to properly brush and floss my teeth which believe it or not, no other dentist has done in the past. It really felt like she cared, she treated me like a person and not like a paycheck. I was in and out in 1 hour and the process was completely transparent in regards to the work I need to have completed. This will be my permanent home for dentistry. read more

Dr.Lyons and her staff are very professional and kind. I have anxiety about dental care and they always make me feel comfortable. I recently had a tooth removed, a dental implant placed in and bone graphing around the implant. I was comfortable during the entire procedure and 24 hours later my pain is minimal. They are great at working with insurance carriers on coverage availability and cost disclosure of services! I have been here for several procedures ranging from routine checkups to extraction of wisdom teeth. I found the staff to be courteous and professional, and the office is clean and well kept. The wait times have been short for me and the office seems to keep customers on schedule, at least for the times I have been there. Both Dr. Lyons and Dr. Chawla are friendly and knowledgeable, and I would have no problem returning to either for future dental procedures. I highly recommend this dentist office, I think it is about as enjoyable as a trip to the dentist can be. read more

Having the thought of getting a root canal can make anyone nervous. But todays experience my nerves were put at ease. Having no pain during the whole procedure along with the reassurance from Dr. Lyons and Heather actually had me smiling as I was leaving. I am 65 years old and have had a lot of dental work done in my lifetime. I'm just one of those unlucky people who have soft teeth and get cavities under old fillings & crowns. I became unhappy with the quality of care I was given by my old dentist and felt that I could find someone who could do a better job. I researched many area dentists and ended up deciding to give Lyons Family Dentistry a try. I based my decision on the following things: 1. Lyon Family Dentistry is owned by the dentist doing the actual work, Dr. Alina Lyons. 2. In my experience the owner of a business, in many cases, will go the extra mile in an effort to grow their business and take pride in their work. 3. According to her resume, Dr. Lyons studied physics in her native country of Poland before immigrating to the United States & going to dental school. Physics is a precise science and tells me that she is technically oriented. 4. Dr. Lyons served her country as a dentist in the US Air Force at McGuire AFB with the rank of Captain, before starting her practice 25 years ago. Another big plus for me! 5. Dr. Lyons is an accredited member of a slew of dental organizations. 6. Dr. Lyons & her staff regularly attend in service training classes to keep abreast of the most current advances in the dental sciences. I wanted until I had completed several visits to this office and had several procedures done before writing this review so that I could be honest & through. When I walked into her office for the first time I was very pleasantly surprised to see how comfortable & home like the atmosphere was. The staff was the most polite & pleasant that I have ever encountered. Dr. Lyons was such a nice, down to earth person that you can't help but immediately like her. She makes you feel like you are very important to her and goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable. If you are like me and dread having those needles in your mouth, let me tell you that Dr. Lyons uses much thinner needles than any other dentist that I have ever been to and has a true gift for making the injections nearly painless! The office has the latest technology, including 3D digital scanning for crown measurement which makes the manufacture & fit of the crowns perfect! All of the female assistants seem more like actual dentists than assistants and can answer most any question just like the doctor. It was amazing how competent & knowledgeable they all are. This extends to the other women who do the office work & billing. They were all a true pleasure to deal with! Perhaps what like most about Dr. Lyons is that she is meticulous in her work and goes the extra mile to make sure that what she is doing for you is not just good, but perfect! I just wanted to thank Dr. Lyons and Danielle for a "uneventful" appointment this morning. I have dental "fear" issues (started as a sedation patient) and was scheduled for an extraction and implant this morning. Enough to send any denta phobe off the deep end! The whole experience was "uneventful" , meaning no pain, no need to clench the arms of the chair and no hyperventilating! We even managed a lot of laughs! Everyone knows getting through the door of a dentist is a big step and if she had not been so compassionate .. reassuring and knowledgeable I may have never done it. The entire staff was wonderful.
