    Large chicken doner plate
    Aj V.

Small, middle eastern & turkish restaurant serving unreal flavours for an amazing price. Lets cut to the chase, if you want some great Doners (turkish kebab made of meat on vertical rotisserie) that will have you satiated then look no further friends. Their portions, flavours, price and service are all generous and fantastic. We ordered a large Chicken Doner plate to share and we were full. The dish was accompanied with rice, veggies and this incredible sauce that would make you forget all of your problems. Everything was so well balanced, just the thought makes me want to stop this review and get a plate. We wanted to try more but there was no room left in our stomachs. Finished the meal with a turkish coffee and DAMN that sh*t was strong, delicious, but strong. We will be back to try more on their menu! Let us know how your experience was. @ajnicholafoodadventures

Friendly service. Delicious food. Highly recommended. Reminded me of my trip to Turkey as their menu options was more extensive than some other Turkish food places in Toronto.

Good shit. If you eat chicken of beef plates. This place is the shit. The only rule: BRING CASH. Your ass will get a boatload more than you're already getting. Most people get a plate which is 9$ and it will fill you up guaranteed.

I had the chicken doner platter and it was probably one of the best i've ever had. It was incredibly delicious. Humongous portion at a great price.

Ive been going to this restaurant for about 4y years now. And I absolutely love their food here. I usually go for ther dinner plates. Wraps and their delicious lentil soup. If you like middle eastern/turkish food. This is the best spot for you. Food: 4.5/5 - big portions. Wraps and medium size dinner plates are good portions for 2 people. Eveything is served with their salad and if you order a dinner plate, it will come with complimentary pita. Must also try their baklava for dessert, that is if you still have room for dessert :p price: definitely affordable. From $5-$15 Ambiance: 3/5 not the prettiest restaurant but food is what truly matters Location: ttc accessible (bus stop right in front of the restaurant), free parking, you wont miss it. The person (big muscular turkish man) is always friendly, and always smiling I always call him "my friend".

Good food, Great prices, Generous portions. Babos Donerpoint is a good spot to fill up on Turkish/Middle Eastern cuisine. This is a great restaurant to come and visit if you're craving for doner plates, doner wraps, or middle eastern salads. The food is well prepared and made fresh with the meats being tender and juicy while the veggies are fresh and crunchy. The main attraction of this restaurant are the cheap prices and generous portion sizes. You can purchase a very FILLING meal for around $8-15 which is a bargain considering the large portion sizes. A medium plate is equivalent to 1.5 meals while a large plate is equivalent to 2 meals by my standards. In terms of aesthetics, Babos is a "hole in the wall" type of restaurant. But don't let the looks of this restaurant mislead you, Babos' serves good food at great prices and generous portion sizes which makes this spot a place you should definitely check out if you happen to be in the area and craving for some Turkish food.

Very generous portions and friendly service! It's great to see a family owned and run restaurant making great food for the local community! The beef is not some "beef-like" substance like at some other doner places...it's actual BEEF! Delicious marinated meat piled high on a bed of rice and fries!

The place is not much but the food is delicious. If you're ever craving simple chicken on rice with some salad you've found your place. I picked up the chicken donër plate - $10 tax included. The chicken is prepared really well and the rice was fresh. There's space to sit and enjoy your meal if you're not in a rush. They have a good selection of items to choose from and you really can't go wrong with any of them.

Awesome food. Pretty cheap considering they stuff your take out container to the point of bursting. One of my favorite doner places.

Great food with very generous portions. Had the mixed dinner plate and found the beef to be slightly better than the chicken.

The ordering process was not user friendly. Advertised deals were not charged as promoted until after the order was actually placed. The categories of food were itemized all over the place, so you weren't sure you were getting what you wanted as if it were a small combo, a larger dinner, or a la carte. The food itself was worth nowhere near the prices charged. For $20.89 before tip and taxes, I got a regular 355 mL can of domestic pop, a lunch sized pita that was completely burnt, and a side of frozen fries. Everyone's chicken was dry as a bone, and even the rice was as dessicated as cardboard. The only decent items were the Greek salad, and the pork which was able to withstand its level of char because it's not chicken. They didn't deliver one of the said cans of pop, which was charged and paid for at $3 for a la carte because it wasn't ordered as part of a preset combo. Add to the order the suggested 20% tip pushing $50, and the total customer experience result is that we'll never order from there again, or bother trying them as walk ins Never again.

That has tomato, onion and tzatziki. Both were great! The side of rice was very resembling of a package Greek rice which was sad but still ok. The side of vegetables was fantastic! Grilled zucchini, grilled carrots, and grilled asparagus! The Large Greek salad was great as well! The service was incredible overall! My only two suggestions would be, again, -The rice was like a pre-made package. -The tzatziki could have more well rounded flavor. We really didn't notice it much other than being there. It was just yogurt honestly. Fix those and it's a 5 star from me!

The Heirloom tomatoes with the tangy, slightly sweet olive oil dressing were a nice opener--refreshing and well-balanced. The Melitzanosalata (eggplant dip) with soft pita bread was a favorite--the garlic and lemon made it taste really fresh. The Keftedes (beef meatballs) were fine, nothing spectacular, but reliable. They also included a small bowl of olives, which was a nice touch. For mains, the Oktapódi (grilled octopus) came a bit cold, which was a small downside, but the Paidákia (grilled lamb chops) were excellent--tender and full of flavor, especially with the Tzatziki sauce. The Tiganites Patates (thick-cut potato fries) were a bit simple and slightly oily, but still tasty. The Seasonal Vegetable dish was perfectly cooked--well-seasoned, fresh, and not greasy at all. The flavors and textures were well balanced overall. The tangy dressings with the grilled dishes, along with garlicky vegetables, made the meal feel satisfying without being heavy. The service was friendly, though it was a busy evening. I would definitely come back to try more.
