After a weeks use, I realized it didn't suit my hair texture, and it was way too expensive for me to keep. Ironically, we picked it up at this location. When I brought in the dryer, with the box and all the paperwork, the woman at the register examined it like a scientist looking through a microscope. She then questioned why I was returning it after 6 days. I told her I used it twice and it didn't suit my needs (let me be clear, Nordstrom has a no questions asked return policy and as she stated before, I had the item for 6 Days!). She then disappeared to the back for a few minutes, when she returned I was told that I needed to return the dryer to the flagship store across town. When I questioned why, she said she couldn't take it back. I asked to speak with a manager and she said there wasn't one here. I said I wanted to speak with who she spoke with, she spoke with someone at the main store and a beauty manager would have to approve the return. I voiced my disdain at the absurdity of her request. She said she "understood my frustration." Really? I don't think you do..... I think you enjoy telling those who SHOP at Nordstrom that you can't help them. I went to the Nordstrom Flagship store, met a random person in the beauty department and they took it back, no questions asked. She also profusely apologized for the poor customer service I experienced. She said there was ABSOLUTELY NO REASON WHY THEY COULDN'T HAVE TAKEN THE ITEM BACK. Nordstrom Local, your staff needs to be retrained in customer service. I will be taking my business to Bloomingdales.
