Highly recommend Dory, she is amazing! We introduced a bottle at 3-weeks, by 4 months a bottle was a struggle but doable, and by 6 months it was impossible. We felt defeated and desperate for a solution before I returned to work. Dory came in with a fresh approach, an immense amount of patience, and warmth. Dory helped our 4.5 month old baby consistently take a bottle within 4 sessions! Our little one took a few bottles a week overnight for weeks 0-9 then we returned to EBF. Around week 16 we attempted a daytime bottle feed in preparation for a trip and our baby refused the bottle and would also no longer accept an overnight bottle. The first session took ~30 minutes to work but our baby drank the full offer. The third session seemed like our little one may have been regressing but Dory was able to keep her on track and teach me during the 4th session. Dory is incredible! Our 5 month old baby took the bottle early on, but we stopped giving it to him regularly around two months. When I was prepping to go back to work at 4.5 months, he started refusing the bottle. We attempted once a day for two weeks and made no progress. Dory is wonderful! I was set to go back to work when my daughter was 4 months; we tried to get her to take the bottle starting at around 3.5 months but she was not having it. We tried every trick that we could find online, in discussion boards, on social media: different nipples, bottles, temperatures, etc.. Nothing worked. We tried for about a month with lots of tears before we found Dory. We had five sessions with her (really four, because she got covid after the first and we essentially started at square one when she returned to us), and our baby now takes the bottle every time we give it to her. She's not drinking a full feeding just yet but she is getting there; we're seeing her drink more and more each day. Dory is patient, incredibly responsive, and tries to work with your schedule. I absolutely love breastfeeding my son. However, my son not taking the bottle posed a big challenge for us with two babies under two and my husband who travels often for work. Late last year we were referred to Dory from a fellow mom and we are so thankful. She worked with my son for three days and each day he became more comfortable with the bottle and now I am able to leave him with my mom when I need to take my toddler to gymnastics class or even date night with my husband. Dory is a lifesaver! It was so hard for my daughter to take barely an ounce by bottle. I was so nervous because my maternity leave was about to end so we hired Dory and she was able to teach my daughter how to drink within 4 sessions! Dory was encouraging, responsive and accommodating. She was able to work with our schedules and was able to come on a short notice. Dory was very kind and patient when working with us and my daughter. When teaching her method to us, she gave us constructive feedback that helped us learn it pretty quickly. She provided us with pictures and videos of our daughter drinking from the bottle with her method so that we could use it for reference when we would feed. Dory SAVED me with the bottle for my second. She helped us briefly with our first, but when it came to our second, oh Lordy that girl would not take a bottle from anyone in any way. I was to the point where I was trying to get my newborn to take from a little cup In comes Dory, who was incredibly patient beyond words, so calm and comforting, and she and her crazy cool methods actually worked for us! She trained my husband, mom, and nanny as well, very hands on, so that within a few weeks we were finally making progress! I can't recommend Baby Bottle Bootcamp and Dory enough! When our second daughter came along, we were dumbfounded that she wouldn't take a bottle. Our first baby took it no problem without hesitation so we did not know what to do! I was exclusively breastfeeding but wanted my baby to take the occasional bottle so I could have more than 2-3 hours of freedom. We also had my brother in law's wedding coming up and I was starting to get so nervous about leaving my 4 month old all day and night when she refused a bottle. In walks Dory! Her nicu nurse background and knowledge as a mom of three has made her incredibly informed and an expert in all things feeding. She worked with my baby for 5 days and while she was fussy and so hesitant and first, Dory was able to get her to take a bottle on day 1 with all of her tips and tricks.
