I wanted my money back $566, I want to be able to reuse the "GET20" COUPON CODE, "THE $35 OFF YOUR NEXT PURCHASE" coupon code, that I got for my first EVER order, AND THE "25 PERCENT OFF the entire order" for opting into text messaging promotions, that I lost when you cancelled my second order. Also, I spent over 4 hours over 2 days picking out items, due to your slow website freezing over and over again. Children's place customer service told me that my funds should be back on my card by Sunday 3/20/2023. I'll update you if that doesn't happen. I had to dispute with my bank, and they said the process will take up to 90 days for dispute to be settled and to recieve a credit, if the pending transaction settles itself in the next five days, the pending charge of $566 should drop off and I'll have access to my funds. I had walked over to the Sunnyvale Public Library with my son and stopped for a moment to wipe my brow when out of nowhere, one of the nose pads on my glasses completely broke off. These were an older pair of glasses I had recently rediscovered while cleaning, so I figured the parts had simply become worn down over time. At first, I thought I'd just grab a repair kit from Target after ChatGPT recommended their Up & Up eyeglass repair kit instead of going all the way to Walgreens. Unfortunately, the only kit I found didn't include the nose pad I needed. As I kept walking through the store hoping they might be stocked elsewhere, I stumbled upon the Target Optical department, complete with an eye doctor and full service optical counter. That's where I met Irish. Irish was absolutely wonderful. She patiently and diligently worked on my glasses, replaced BOTH nose pads, cleaned them thoroughly, tightened and tuned everything up, and honestly made this old pair feel practically brand new again. You know how over time those little parts get dirty, brittle, degraded, and loose? She took the time to carefully restore them instead of rushing me through. What really stood out was her attitude and customer service. She was warm, professional, patient, and genuinely helpful throughout the entire interaction. Irish gave us her full attention and made us feel completely taken care of. Excellent service experiences deserve recognition, and Irish absolutely earned this review. The prices are beyond great if you love vintage clothing and know fabrics. I may have found my favorite dress of all time here for a whopping $14 (because it's a two piece set of decorative vintage fabric) it was in the premium section and the volunteers were adorable making sure I knew why it was priced this way. (I couldn't afford a yard of this fabric retail I'm giddy about a vintage two piece set that I can customize). To then discover that the proceeds go to support women's scholarships was the ultimate bonus! My grand total for everything was $54 and I happily gave my change to the donation bucket by the register. If you are in the area and love unique vintage items this is a must explore. I had to resist the urge to buy several of the tea cup collections. I'm a sucker for vintage tea sets and they have several that are stunning!
