I ordered a bedroom set for my toddler back in August so we could move his furniture into the nursery for our new expected arrival in November. We ordered a bed, dresser, and nightstand, and upon the initial order the estimated delivery was mid-September. Those dates came and went with no communication from PBK, and when we called PBK customer service, they told us that because the nightstand was back ordered, they wouldn't deliver any of the furniture until they had all 3 pieces. We begged the customer service agent to split the order because we needed the bed and dresser before November (or we were going to cancel the nightstand to get the rest of the order moving). He was very helpful, but we had to call 2 more times to actually get the order split -- hence the beginning of the chore. They finally scheduled us for delivery for the bed and dresser yesterday (mid-October), but when they arrived, the dresser was mislabeled and they had delivered the wrong color. I called PBK customer service who told me they couldn't do anything, was then told to call a number for Williams-Sonoma who told me to call PBK customer service, then went back to PBK customer service, who now told me my item wouldn't be delivered until possibly after my due date. All this to say, not only does it take several phone calls to get a clear answer on anything from PBK, but their communication regarding actually receiving your delivery will likely be lackluster and fail to meet even the lowest expectations. I will be going to Macy's, Crate & Kids or other similar furniture companies in the future to see if I can avoid PBK's runaround, and would recommend anyone else does too.

The bedding is nice quality and I really do like it so far. Not sure I loved the tulle bedskirt the sales lady sold me on. I don't feel like the pink matches the pink in the bedding now that I have it home. The store was very busy and they could have used one or two other employees in there at the time I visited.

This place is good!…read more It's a great place to bring your gently used kids clothes too and see if they can get some money from them. They can then turn around and spend the money on other used clothes in the store. So the cycle of recycle continues :) I love that they had a little functioning kids door! This made my little feel very empowered knowing the store was made for her size and her people. You never know what you might find here, which makes it fun to come and shop! We were looking for winter items to prepare for the snow, and unfortunately for her size, they were all out. A lot of parents had the same exact idea and were there doing the same thing. Unfortunately we don't live in the same state so we were looking for consignment stores with gently used baby gear. I found plenty in the southern states but none in MD like there used to be. I happen to find this store on a trip we took to the area. I was so excited to look for a stroller, car seat, packnplay,play yard, chair that attaches to the table etc. I will be doing alot more new things & going to many different places since I'll be with my grandson!! I've already begun making plans for some short trips and then a big family trip. First, upon entering it was packed and clustered. But then again so am I and I have learned not to judge a person or place on the outside or first look, so I ventured in and I immediately spotted the pack n play I wanted in navy blue and they had 2 jogger strollers I couldn't decide between. They had everything you need or want for your newborn up to about elementary school age? We were promptly greeted at the door and I explained it was my first time in there and what I was looking for and then they had to give us a quick lesson on the stroller since they've changed some since I last had one 23 years ago. Everything was clean and in either new or barely used. Prices are not necessarily negotiable unlike the old days when you could get it cheaper depending on the length of time it has been up for sale. They do have a frequent buyer card and filling it gives you a discount of $10 or $20 off your next purchase (I believe the $ is correct) I can honestly say the place is small but they have some great newer (or brand new) items and if you buy enough they just might give you a little discount:-). I could get lost in a place like this & buy everything for my grandson. I did decide on a jogger stroller for $70, a pack n play with bassinet and extra side pockets for diapering and changing. I bought a brand new one in green with baby animals on it and it was still in box partially! I found a cute little red tricycle that I had to buy for him even though he can't ride yet. I highly recommend this store! The quality of products is great and selection is pretty good not to mention how friendly the staff was & helpful. I don't do this often but 5 stars across the board!! I gave up and left. The Fair Oaks store is nicer, and the Tyson's Corner store is even better.

The whole process is a little disjointed. First, they conduct an in-home assessment of what can be…read moreproofed (which is basically anything and everything) and provide you a report and a quote. Next, comes the installation, which is done by a completely different party. The assessors obviously don't communicate with the installers because the latter has do another walkthrough with you so you can tell them what needs to be done. Then then installers tell you that 1/2 of what the assessors recommended either isn't doable and practical. Definitely recommend the DIY route.
