Love this store. Clean, stocked, & friendly staff. Great prices & a lot of clearance/sale options.

I'm writing this because I was absolutely stunned by the treatment I witnessed at Burlington this…read morepass week. I believe the individual I'm referring to, David, might be part of the management team, as I saw him with store keys while he was behind the register. His attitude was incredibly rude and nasty. He was berating one of his coworkers, making them feel completely useless. I even heard him cursing at them! It was heartbreaking to see someone in a leadership position treat their team so poorly. I had to ask a cashier for their name afterward, just in shock that someone like David could be in management and treat his peers like trash. There are cameras everywhere, and they should really see what he does. When I was there, there was a huge line and he was just on his phone, not helping at all. It's sad and unacceptable. burlington do better.

Now I enter a Burlington, and am told they're limiting access to the space by a security guard, then when I get inside EVERYTHING IS LOCKED UP. Whether it be a plastic box an item is in, or items chained to the racks on which they're hanging, it's TOO MUCH. I don't want a seemingly prisoned shopping experience. It's a huge turn off how far Burlington has gone to prevent theft. There's got to be a better way.

Unfortunately, I left disappointed and pretty upset actually. I asked one of their Reps if they repair Panasonic FZ300's and he wasn't sure, so he asked someone older who was repairing something in the back. With somewhat of an annoyed tone and unwilling to provide more info he shouted: "we don't repair Panasonic". I found it interesting that they don't repair Panasonics, yet they do sell them here. Anyway, I asked the guy if he could please provide me with a quote for my mint condition OM Systems OM1 as I'm considering selling, sounds like he didn't believe me that it was in mint condition (less than 200 pictures taken and purchased it 2 months ago, have my receipt of it as well) so he said that I would have to bring the camera. He couldn't even give me a price range. He also told me that my Point and Shoot Sony H-20 has a bigger sensor than my OM Systems OM1, which is ridiculous. I wish I could be here giving my 5 stars to a Local Business but my experience was just unpleasant and really disappointing.

My family worked with Tamika on a nearly weekly basis for the first two months of my child's life. Tamika far exceeded my expectations and enabled me to achieve my breastfeeding/pumping goals. Prior to meeting with her, I knew very little about breastfeeding or pumping. She helped me to figure out how much to feed my baby and how often, how to pump, what flange size and nipple shield size I needed, how much weight my child should be gaining, how to heal my nipples, what questions I should be asking my pediatrician and ob/gyn, and the list goes on and on. She is literally a treasure trove of information and resources. She has been by far the biggest asset on my breastfeeding journey. She is compassionate, encouraging, and empathetic. I cannot sing her enough praises. In preparation for delivery, my husband and I took Shelly's Lamaze class. I found her course to be more beneficial than the services/information provided by my doula. Shelly helped us to understand childbirth from beginning to end. As a result, we knew what to expect and felt incredibly prepared. During my labor, my husband and I used many of the techniques taught in class. The Lamaze class was intense and full of relevant information, but Shelly makes it entertaining and memorable. I, especially, appreciated her technique of mentioning important concepts multiple times throughout the course. Furthermore, she is a great storyteller. I highly recommend taking the Lamaze course with Shelly. I have taken other courses with the Center, including Baby Care for the Breastfeeding Family, and Breastfeeding and Pumping. Unfortunately, I was highly disappointed in these courses and did not find them to be helpful. I would not recommend these courses at the Center. Instead, there are other places in the area that do a better job at covering these topics. Overall, I think the Breastfeeding Center has been an excellent resource during my childbirth and breastfeeding journey.
