I love that you can buy fresh flowers in bulk and there's way more of a selection than any grocery store I've been to. They have tons of unique options where you can pick by the stem or bunch. My favorite section is the colder area in the back. It's open to the public, you just have to push the button to open the garage door. They carry other fun stuff like votives, vases, dried flowers, etc. Walking in is like a dream for those with a green thumb! My husband loves this place too because they make it so easy when he buys flowers. They're super knowledgeable and wrap your order nicely for you so it's easier to transport home! He bought me the flowers in the picture for Valentines, thinking that there were just a dozen roses. There ended up being 24 roses. We couldn't believe how many we got for the price! read more

Absolutely LOVE this place!!! Sad I didn't discover it sooner. On the phone, they let me know that shipments come in on Sunday and Wednesday. I was amazed by all of the options. I came in to buy flowers for an event. I chose enough for my event for only around $100. Amazing options and amazing prices! I chose to do my own arrangements, but you can also have them do it for an added fee. After I chose my flowers, I asked them to hold the order for a couple of days so I could pick them up the day of the event. They kept them in great condition and throughly checked each one. Two bunches had a few very small brown spots and they switched them out with a fresh bunch for free. I was determined to do the flowers and bouquets for my daughters wedding in Leesburg. Being from New York, I had stumbled over the Metro Flowers website randomly. I couldnt believe how low their prices were. I called and Maurice helped me place the order for what I needed for the wedding. When we picked up the order two days before the wedding, everything was boxed up with my name on it. I was encouraged to open and inspect every single box. They were all refresh and packed so nicely for transporting. We were given detailed instructions how to keep them fresh in buckets until wedding day. I was able to create 20 eucalyptus centerpieces, 1 bridal bouquet, 4 bridesmaids bouquets, 10 vases of hydrangeas and eucalyptus, and decorated a wedding arch. About 10-15% higher cost overall from other wholesalers in the area. Confusion over pricing and, of course, trying to charge as much as possible ( much like all wholesalers) left me uneasy about my invoice. The people are nice enough but they kept using their computers as an excuse for not being able to process my order and my credit card and not being able to refund the adjustments in pricing. Most of the flowers were fine but I had issues with Garden roses being unusable because of their tiny size ( smaller than The Vendela Roses I ordered) and getting three different varieties of ivory spray roses instead of all the same. I'm a self-employed Event Florist and every penny and every minute counts. I was hoping that I had found a great wholesaler close by....but, I'm not sure if I would use them again after the cost in time and product. read more
