I ultimately proceeded with the booking because the price was lower than alternatives like BabyQuip. When the crib was delivered, we were uncomfortable with the condition of the mattress and folding crib. It appeared heavily worn, and when we wiped the surface, visible dirt transferred onto the wipe. Because of this, we did not feel comfortable using it for infant sleep. The folding crib itself also showed significant wear with a lot of paint chippings and scratches. We contacted the owner to raise cleanliness concerns, and he picked up the items the same day. During the pickup, he emphasized that this was "rented baby equipment," referred to me as a "Four Seasons girl," mentioned knowing "a lot of people on the island," and made comments toward my 80-year-old grandmother while I had briefly stepped away. We were simply raising hygiene concerns related to infant equipment, and the interaction felt unnecessary and unprofessional. We were told the mattress was approximately 1-2 years old. After contacting the manufacturer and sharing photos of the label, they indicated it was likely manufactured between 2010-2014. After initially posting a review reflecting this experience, I removed it in good faith, hoping the owner would remove a false review he left on my unrelated place of employment so the situation could be resolved and we could both move on. That did not occur. Following my original review, the owner googled my name, located my personal place of employment, and left a false review on my company's Google page -- a business that had no involvement in this rental transaction. He also followed my personal work account on social media. After this, the owner continued to contact me directly via email, accusing me of "hiring friends" to leave negative reviews and telling us to "go home." These communications felt inappropriate and escalated the situation beyond a standard customer review. I later learned that I am not the first customer to experience similar conduct after leaving a review that was not fully positive. I'm sharing this so future customers can make an informed decision. I encourage anyone considering this business to ask detailed questions in advance, carefully inspect items upon delivery, and read reviews closely, particularly regarding how feedback is handled.

These guys were great communicators whether it be email or text and they were very responsive. Pick up and drop off were very flexible in the time window, which was nice. We used the Kihei locker pick up and drop off, as it was pretty close to our lodging. I will say the toddler bed doesn't look anything like the photos, it's a very solid metal framed bed that I was lucky to have gotten a suv rental and had to put all the seats down as it didn't breakdown at all. Other than that, most of the stuff is fairly used but still in good condition. It's legitimately like if you borrowed some stuff from your friend. You wouldn't get brand new stuff, nor would your buddy clean every nook and cranny of it. All in all, I was really happy with this experience and the price was well worth not having to lug everything over.
