I will say the toddler bed doesn't look anything like the photos, it's a very solid metal framed bed that I was lucky to have gotten a suv rental and had to put all the seats down as it didn't breakdown at all. Other than that, most of the stuff is fairly used but still in good condition. It's legitimately like if you borrowed some stuff from your friend. You wouldn't get brand new stuff, nor would your buddy clean every nook and cranny of it. Yea so this place…read moreseemed to have a little bit higher than average prices but almost all of the equipment rental places are in Kona or Hilo so if you're looking for convenience this is the only game in Waimea-- except that it's basically not in Waimea because they say they have no storefront here and just a warehouse. This is where the price gouge comes in-- everything on their website is at least $25 more because of the delivery fee they don't disclose until *after* you've made a reservation, which carries a $25 cancellation fee if you don't catch the sneaky price-doubling charge in time. Either way, they're gonna try to get that $25 out of you, even if you didn't want delivery and no services were rendered. I put in the notes of my reservation that I wanted to pick up my rental from the 65-1000 Kawaihae Rd address listed on the google page and instead of proactively emailing me to say that this wasn't possible, they just made the reservation anyway with the attempted delivery charge. I only found out that pickup was impossible by contacting them to make the correction about the charge. What terrible business practices. I gave them one extra star because they weren't jerks about canceling.

THANK YOU ladies!! EXCELLENT SERVICE! So glad I chose Maui on the Fly! This was our 4th time to Maui and 1st time with our 2 year old and 7 month old. I can not tell you how HAPPY I was to have found Maui on the Fly. Their 5 star reviews absolutely speak for themselves. Nicki & Brandy were amazing!!! Two moms just like me who are clearly obsessed with cleanliness because all of our items were in new if not excellent condition. Nicki & Brandy were so prompt, professional, and were a traveling mothers dream come true! Just having the ease of not having bring our own stuff and having the gear set up waiting for us to arrive was worth every penny. I rented a full size crib (excellent condition, mattress was perfect), high chair (very high end, fanciest I've seen), double bob stroller, beach bundle #3 which came with family beach tent (A MUST for Maui), activity jumper (my daughter LOVED), indoor toy bundle was a perfect mix for both ages and my 2 year old jumped for joy like it was Christmas the minute he saw them. These ladies without a doubt have this business down, they are moms that know what moms like, want and expect and I can not thank them enough for taking such good care of my family and providing such a helpful service. This is the second year that I have booked baby rental items through Maui on the Fly. I coordinate/organize an annual vacation for a family of 11, of which, 5 travelers are infants, toddlers and children. I rented 2 pack & plays, beach toys, a high chair, 2 toddler beds, a booster seat and 4 sets of floaties. Booking the reservation online is very simple. Nicki and Brandie are prompt, professional and friendly with their communication and ensure that every detail is covered and accurate. I made several changes from the time of the order to a couple days prior to arrival and they made the process seamless. All the rental items were at the Villa prior to arrival and ready to go! The family even moved locations on the last evening to a hotel and they allowed the family to keep the floaties with them and then picked them up at the hotel upon check-out! Great service! We rented a package from Maui on the Fly for our vacation. It included a pack and play, high chair and a sitting jumper chair. These folks were awesome!! Upon arrival we found everything set up in our condo waiting for us. All of the equipment was used but still in VERY good condition. When getting ready to leave there was a simple phone call and they were there to pick everything up before check out time!!! We just got back from a week of Maui with 3 kids. Our youngest is 16 months and we needed a high chair and pack n play for him so we didn't to bring as much stuff through the airport as we already are a family of 5! Nikki and Brandie from Maui on the Fly were fast to respond to my request and had the gear there and waiting for us at check-in time. It was super easy, the items were clean and in great condition. The wonderful moms that run Maui on the Fly really were efficient, friendly and helpful. They had to take apart the full size crib to fit it through the bedroom door and had it done in a jiffy and ready to go for my little one. They also had recommendations for us as a family traveling with small children that were great! The equipment was they brought was in really god condition and top of the line stuff. This was an absolutely wonderful service! We placed our order a couple of weeks before our trip, and then changed it twice before our actual arrival. The changes were seemless, our items were delivered to our rental home prior to our arrival, and everything was in good working order. The pickup was done in the timeframe stated on the day we left. We had a great experience with Maui on the Fly. We pre-ordered a few items that were delivered to the hotel. After a few days, we realized we needed one more item to help out with some sleep issues (big time change). The equipment was promptly delivered and our whole family finally got some sleep. LOVED Maui on the Fly. For an incredibly reasonable price, we got a full size crib, high chair and indoor/beach toys for our 16 month old. Knowing that he could sleep and eat better while on vacation made us rest so much easier. And the company had a no hassle set-up, delivery and pick up system that was so smooth. Booked a stroller with them for our Hawaii vacation, got confirmation email/number. Stroller was never delivered to our hotel. I was trying to reach them without response, later received an email saying that we booked the stroller too late and they could not hold it for us any longer. Horrible! Please don't use them, there are plenty other reliable companies on Maui providing good service and following their confirmation policy. read more

She set them up with a mask, fins, and a floater and shared with us the best place to see fish, and they did! Besides the snorkel gear we rented three Tommy Bahama beach chairs which are great because you can wear them down to the beach as a backpack. One less thing to carry. Before we left Lisa said, "Let me get you a bag of sand toys for you to enjoy after you're done snorkeling." This was so fantastic because grandchild #3 was in the car with Papa and the sand toys were an absolute hit. But he called/texted to give me updates, and it's pretty understandable given that he's driving around the island dropping off and picking up boards.
