The entire staff from the front office to the aides (and even Randall at the security desk) makes us feel welcome and seeing how far she has come is amazing. I've seen the best and worst of physical therapy centers. This is an average experience. This place…read moreis not a fraud, but also not consistent. They have many therapists so your experience will depend mainly on who you get. You may hit the jackpot, or bankrupt. A lot of equipment but a lot of it is for strengthening Rutgers athletes who are young and bounce back quickly. They seem best at strengthening, not so super at correcting specific problems. Maybe I had bad luck recently but I was rather disappointed with how my experience went. Overall a bit too "mass production" for me as a patient. I would say that if you feel your condition isn't improving, go ahead and make a change to another therapist or facility. You need to make yourself priority #1, #2, #3 and every number thereafter. I also note that while this place is, again, not outright fraudulent like some places, they charge a LOT. They tend to pad the bill with things like heat and ice and non-therapist supervised exercises in order to max the insurance payments. If you don't pay anything that's your business, but if you care about the principle or pay a portion of your bill, realize that the bill here is going to be quite a lot... like several TIMES what other places charge for equal or better treatment. I also agree with the reviewer who said you may have to deal with somewhat abrasive people at the front. Billing is also CHAOTIC. In that respect you are in the end dealing with a huge hospital business (Saint Peters) rather than a small physical therapy outfit.

I've been seen by Dr. Griffis for a couple of years, initially for recurring thumb joint arthritis,…read moreand once for an unknown subcutaneous object in my palm that turned out to be a tiny sliver of glass. Soon I'll be seeing him for a consult on possible thumb surgery. Dr. Griffis is not only an excellent doctor, he's a very caring and uniquely personal doctor with an excellent bedside manner, and also one who takes the time to chat and share stories of home and family. In this day of corporate medicine where patients are herded through an office like cattle going off to market, Dr. Griffis is a stand-out surgeon and doctor as doctors were decades ago!

Princeton Orthopaedics & Associates - Workers Comp Dept…read more Hands down the worst scheduling and workers comp department I've ever dealt with. The staff talks over you, talks down to you, and treats you like you're an inconvenience instead of a patient. Every call is attitude and zero help. I found out I'd been driving 15+ miles round-trip to appointments when they have another office less than a mile from my home -- and no one bothered to tell me. When I called to switch because I had no transport, the first woman was rude as usual and kept saying, "I don't know, not my department." No effort to help. Then they blind-transferred me to the comp coordinator who acted like we were friends in a bar, not a professional handling my case. Their delays were so bad that my knee injury literally healed incorrectly while waiting weeks for an MRI and then weeks more just to get results scheduled. Four to six weeks for everything. Constant rudeness the whole time. Workers comp or not, I'm still a patient. This office forgets that completely. Avoid this place unless you want stress, delays, and disrespect.

Dr. Ronald Spiaggia is a rare find. PRRM occupies a special place in my heart…read more I am a person who makes decisions with gut, rather than logic. Right at the first visit, I was certain that Dr. Spiaggia is trustworthy and that I am in safe hands. When all other doctors disregarded an MRI, he was the first person to prescribe it and then provided a bang on target, spot-on review of my condition. This man has his profession inside his blood cells, what a knowledgeable professional he is! This was when I believed that someone actually understood my problem and also what to do to make it better. I suffered from disabling cluster headache on the left side and wasted a year meeting neurologists. They are so pathetically incompetent and do not view the problem from a holistic perspective. They would only write medication after medication. Dr. Spiaggia's diagnosis that the pain was coming from the neck, totally changed the way I thought about the pain. After years of progressive degeneration of the neck resulting from sitting in front of the screen, I came to a conclusion that I had cervicogenic pain. The exercises recommended by the physical therapists helped to drastically bring down the duration of my cluster headache. The PT aides repeatedly ensured that my exercise form was correct and that all the exercises were completed by me. Thanks to Dr. Kevin Tabije for performing the trigger point injections. Their Chiropractic was below expectations and it could have been more efficient. Yet, it can be overlooked for the other things. I never missed a single appointment in my 6 weeks of therapy, after which I had to go back to California. Thank you so much for playing a big part in my healing journey, PRRM.
