Following an MVA, I was diagnosed with various injuries and was eventually confined to a wheelchair for almost two months, and I felt like I was completely out of options. I had seen a parade of specialists--orthopedic doctors, Spine specialist, physiatrist, physic al therapist, and pain management doctors--to no avail. My experience with other medical professionals was deeply frustrating. The orthopedic doctors and spine surgeons essentially washed their hands of me after deciding against surgery- referring me to pain management, physical therapy, and physiatrist for epidurals . Each time an epidural was scheduled, the pain management team had to cancel the procedure because of pain induced high blood pressure. Physical therapy wasn't moving the needle, and I stopped taking opioids due to a real potential for dependency. By now, I was in a wheelchair and in constant pain. I felt completely stuck and hopeless. By the time I met Dr. Simon, I had practically run out of options. Dr. Simon looked at me and said he was going to try to help me. And he actually did. Within just 5 visits, the impossible happened: I was out of the wheelchair and using a walker. After a few more visits, I progressed even further--I was able to walk short distances without a walker and now , within 4 weeks of seeing Dr, Simon, I am walking completely off my walker and walking independently! Well I visited Dr. Samir at Crossroads Chiropractic for the first time on June 15, 2020. He has such a pleasant and knowledgeable staff. I actually have never been able to handle what you night view as regular chiropractic manipulation so I go to those offices for myofacial release message therapy. I happened to visit Crossroads Chiropractic to try a special they were offering on their red light therapy and as part of the treatment they put me on a machine that vibrates your whole body. I really didn't understand all of the technicalities of it but it was a pleasant experience so I just went with it. From the very first visit I noticed a difference. Their is usually no minute of the day that I don't hurt all over. It isn't just my back that hurts it is an all over horrendous ache that never goes away. Well after I got off the machine I kind of expected to hurt because they had me walk on the machine while it vibrated my whole body but when I got off the machine I didn't hurt. The relief actually lasted for a couple of days and when I realized my pain level was down and that the only thing I had done different was go to Crossroads Choropractic I made another appointment. Aside from normal maintenance, I have been seeing Dr. Senft for pain I've had recently. A few months ago, I injured my back and felt pain down my sciatic nerve -- so much pain that at times, I could not walk! I made an appointment with Dr. Senft immediately and he took great care and patience in looking at my symptoms to examine the root cause of my pain. Subsequently, he put me on a treatment plan to get well and every visit thereafter I have shown significant improvement.
