I absolutely love Back to Eden Ranch! One of my favorite things about living in Morgan Hill is having so many farms, orchards, farmers markets, and outdoor experiences nearby. It gives us so many fun things to do with our little one, and Back to Eden Ranch is such a gem! The first time we visited, I went with my husband and our daughter, who was about 18 months old at the time. Jasmin was so sweet and helpful. She suggested that the two-hour guided tour might be a little long for her age, so we booked the one-hour self-guided experience instead, and it was PERFECT for us. I also have to mention how easy their booking system is! Everything is super clear and straightforward, which I really appreciate. They even list the types of veggies you're allowed to bring to feed the animals. Of course, I went out and bought everything on the list AND we bought one of their buckets of animal food too. We came prepared to FEED those babies! Feeding the animals was definitely the highlight. Watching my daughter get up close to them, feed them, and experience everything firsthand was so special. She had such a great time, and honestly, so did I! I love doing these kinds of activities with her--being outdoors, exploring, learning, and getting to interact with animals instead of just seeing them from a distance. We loved it so much that I already booked another one-hour visit for this Sunday, and this time I'm bringing our dog too! I'm going to ask Jasmin if she thinks my daughter is ready for the two-hour guided tour next time because I would definitely love to experience even more of the ranch. Back to Eden Ranch is such a wonderful local experience for families, especially with little ones. I feel so lucky to have something like this so close to home in Morgan Hill. I came here with my daughter and mom as a ladies' day out, and we had such a wonderful time! Jasmine and Andrew were great hosts! You can tell they love their animals and are great stewards of the land they've been blessed with. In talking with Jasmine, we learned that each animal has a unique purpose, and they all work together for the good of the farm. For example, the many cats helped deter the birds from eating the fruits off the trees. Also, one of the dogs enjoys chasing away coyotes at night to protect the cute bunnies. We enjoyed the petting/feeding activity and were provided a huge bucket of food for the animals. All in all, we each had an amazing time and made some great memories. Back-to-Eden Ranch is a family-run business that offers farm experiences on weekends. You can choose a public tour or a private group tour, and the hosts will take you on a 1.5 to 2 hour tour of cows, goats, bunnies, chickens, geese, ducks, African guinea fowl, turkeys, and even alpacas! They also have two extremely friendly farm dogs, as well as chicks and ducklings seasonally. The hosts are extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and definitely exhibit a love for their animals and for the visitors who come to experience nature. Back-to-Eden Ranch also hosts birthday parties and private events, like church retreats. The family offers 2 Airbnbs on the farm, which are perfect for family getaways and small retreats. We had our 2 Yr old Daughter's birthday here. It was amazing. We had 7 kids and 8 adults running around, feeding ducks, chickens, alpacas, cows, bunnies, and goats. Jasmine was an amazing host. She was very sweet and accommodating. She was there to show us the animals and what they like, but then was happy to just let everyone run amuck and do their own thing. Rather then try and bring our own food for the animals, we ordered buckets of feed for the kids, and they were full of lettuce, seeds, hay, and carrots. It really was an amazing time. We fed animals, ate cupcakes, then the kids played for a bit on the playsets. Couldn't have asked for a better place/person to host our baby girl's 2nd birthday. read more

I recently boarded my Goldendoodle at this farm after reading the Yelp reviews, and I couldn't have been more pleased with the experience. The property is beautifully maintained, the animals are lovely, and there's so much space to explore. My dog truly had the time of his life. Andrew and Jasmine have created a wonderful and unique experience for both dogs and families. I can't wait to bring my kids back to enjoy the petting zoo, and I'll absolutely be bringing my dog back for boarding and doggy daycare. My friends and I had such a good experience on the farm this past week. It was the highlight of my winter break from college because it was not only a peaceful getaway but there were so many adorable animals. I loved that each one of them had a name so it felt like I could connect more with the different animals. We also got a lot of time to bond with the cats and dogs on the farm but also the goats, cows, chickens, and alpacas! This place was awesome! I took my girlfriend here for her birthday because the reviews were great and the reviews were right! It's family owned and operated, currently by the husband, wife and daughter. You can tell they really love all of their animals and the enclosures for the animals are very well thought out. They don't cut corners when it comes to caring for the animals either! They even give their cows vegetables from Whole Foods. I would 100% recommend this place and hope that they get all the exposure in the world for what they do. More people should know about them! read more

I highly recommend a visit to Back-to-Eden Ranch in Gilroy. My family joined Jasmine's fabulous tour last month, learned much from her and enjoy interacting with the animals. This weekend, we had the privilege of being invited back to the ranch for a friend's birthday party. It is a perfect site to host a party. Clean and well maintained. Jasmine and Andrew pour their heart and love into this place and warmly share that experience with all who come to see their farm. The price is right, although it seems a little high. The tour is very thorough and the animals are very well cared for. It is so much cheaper than trying to keep any of these animals yourself. Well worth the price and the visit. Back to Eden Ranch in Gilroy Gardens is absolutely wonderful! We took our toddler, and we had the best time. The ranch is clean, beautiful, and so well-maintained. The animals are incredibly friendly and clearly loved and cared for, which made the experience even more special. I brought my kids about 2 weeks ago here & they can't wait to go again. We had such a great time, being outdoors, feeding/petting all animals, jumping in the trampoline & enjoying some freshly squeezed delicious lemonade. This was such a fun experience! Our tour guide was super engaging and informative, and kept a good pace. We had enough time to interact with the animals, but not too long that it dragged on. We felt very welcome the entire time. During the tour, we got to pet, hold, feed, and interact with so many animals! Not only that, but we also got to hear about their different personalities and history. My favorite were the alpacas. Super soft, and they give kisses! Overall, it was a great time. Jasmine was our tour guide and she made the tour so engaging all throughout our time there! We got to meet AND pet/feed rabbits, goats, cows, a huge duck, alpacas, and more. It felt like a full day in just a couple of hours. The beautiful, expansive setting is perfect for interacting with a variety of animals like goats, cows, geese, alpacas, bunnies, and chickens, plus the sweetest cats (miss you, Java). Found this awesome ranch when searching for farms/petting zoos that have alpacas. They have about 4 alpacas at their ranch, a bunch of goats, geese, rabbits, cows & more!! I mainly was excited for the alpacas because I've never seen them in person lol. Website is user-friendly and the owner was very friendly when me & my husband came to visit. We paid about $10/food bucket. Overall 10/10 and we will be back to see the alpacas again read more

My girlfriend and I went here on a whim and we had a blast! The farm is owned by a couple who love animals and want to share that love with others. That love is just overflowing the whole time you are there. FYI, check their Instagram before booking. They post updates on what eggs they are selling and what babies are around.
