Before her first stay, they gave us a tour of the property and had Lucy complete a daycare trial, which gave me so much confidence. One of my favorite moments has been running into some of the staff on our walks. Lucy gets so excited and runs right up to them, which says everything about how well she's cared for there. We met Megan before the pandemic when searching for an off leash trainer for our older corgi. After a 2 week boot camp with Megan, Nilla was a different dog (in all the right ways). She was still loyal, loving, and attached to her family, but she was also obedient and finally a pleasure to walk and take to busy places like parks and shopping centers. When we got our second dog it wasn't even a question.. He went for training as soon as he was past puppyhood. Beyond training, Megan has cared for our dog while traveling for many weeks. We've always been 100% happy with Terry (and so have our pets). Terry goes above and beyond and we never have to worry about what's happening at home while we are away. In the beginning our crew consisted of a geriatric dog and cat. Our dog was quite sick and near the end of her life when Terry began caring for them. She was exceptionally attentive to the special needs of our dog, good at making health assessments and overall someone I could count on. We now have a new crew...two kitties. They are both young and healthy although the youngest does have pica. My cat's particular version of pica is that she will eat any filmy plastic, like plastic shopping bags, newspaper sleeves, cellophane, etc. We have to be constantly vigilant to ensure she doesn't have access to any of the "contraband". Terry understands the issue and always ensures that my cat doesn't have the opportunity to ingest any harmful substances. Terry had a special way with animals and they love her. We just returned home from a nine day vacation. My kitties had enjoyed so much attention from Terry that they were both very ho hum at our return...kind of like "oh, you're back." Typically my "pussy posse" as my husband calls them would have followed me all around the house but they didn't. This told me they had been given tons of attention while I was away. When Terry stays overnight for us, she brings in the mail and any packages, waters plants, takes out the trash, and keeps a watchful eye on whats going on in the neighborhood. She also leaves my home tidy and just the way I left it which is much appreciated. At my request Terri regularly texted us updates and pictures during our time away which eased any fleeting concern I might have. I highly recommend Terry as a pet sitter.

She was extremely responsive, communicative, and took the time to explain help me learn about my Aussie. Mary did an incredible job gently cleaning my girl's overgrown undercoat out without rushing the process. You can tell she truly cares about the comfort and wellbeing of the animals she works with. She also took extra precautions with my Aussie's sensitive hips, which meant a lot to me. She looks healthier, happier, and so much more comfortable. We tried obedience classes, 2 different trainers and implementing a variety of strategies I researched online... nothing worked. These habits continued and I was very overwhelmed by the future with my dog. I dreaded walks and driving with him. I was desperate to find some effective help. That's where Dave comes in (shout out to Mary at Bit O'Blarney Grooming services for referring him- best groomer around). Dave instilled confidence in myself as my dog's leader. I became/am becoming who my dog needed because of Dave. He made me confident in my delivery of every day training. Within 2 weeks, it clicked for my dog. We have learned how to communicate and successfully pass dogs on leash. We still have training to do, but the improvement I have seen has been amazing!! I have never met a trainer who cares so much about your dog and your concerns. He goes above and beyond to provide owners with the tools necessary to train at home... he even encouraged me to text him updates/questions outside of the session! She had my birds cage so nice and clean and my birds were singing their heart out when I got home. My older pit/ boxer mix is 12 and has medicine she has to take 2 times a day . She took her medicine without any problems and she even gave me a few toys on how to get her to take it without spitting it out. My pit puppy who chews everything was happy too and nothing chewed while I was gone. I get jealous now cuz my dogs are happier to get than me sometimes. Lol love her kindness and love for my animals.
