So far so good. Very professional on the phone. First spray Saturday. I'm excited to see how they do.

Hire Phil! I…read morereached out (via Yelp) to many companies for the box elder bug mass invasion of our home. Phil responded within 30 minutes of my request. He was able to give me a quote over text and could come out the next day!!! All of the other companies that bothered to reply couldn't come out for a week or more, and they gave a "starting" bid. Phil kept in constant communication with me. He let me know when he was on his way and when he would be arriving. He even arrived a little earlier than the window given. He walked the perimeter of the house, looked at all of my concerns, explained that what I thought were box elder were actually another beetle (no red x on their back). I knew of one area where wasps were getting in under the patio ceiling, and soffit around the house. Phil not only hit the entire perimeter of the house, yard, trees, and area where I knew the wasps to be, but he hit the entire soffit everywhere there was space to spray. He offered to come inside the house and spray all of window frames, but I didn't think it necessary. Needless to say, we had bug graveyards surrounding the house within a day. I did notice a few stragglers after about 5 days and when I asked him about it, he said he'd be out to do a second treatment. Full disclosure we have a lot of trees, of which some are growing over the house touching the roof above the window I noticed a few (like three instead of thirty) bugs hanging around. He offered to come inside and this time I said yes. He wore protective slippers over his shoes and hit every window in and door upstairs and down. I am SUPER pleased with not only his work, but his professionalism and personality. I HIGHLY recommend Ecoline Pest Control.

Steve was incredibly courteous, thorough, and professional. He explained everything and got to work. The cost was lower than I anticipated and I have not seen an ant since! The service tech was very friendly, but I thought it odd he only spent about 15 minutes total time applying the solution. Within a few days bugs were still alive and well. I called to report my findings after a week and the same tech responded. He said he would use a different solution, which he applied. Again, within a day or two more bugs were observed. The last time the tech visited he told me their work is guaranteed. So I called them a third time, (a week later) believing they would do a third application with no charge. I was wrong. Not only did they charge me for the third application, it did not work either! I still have the same amount of bed bugs as before. Save your time and money and find a more reparable company! Unfortunately, after the first visit I wrote them a very positive review based on their ability to respond quickly and the attitude and politeness of the tech.

Another update: Well, things just took a crazy turn! Yesterday I wrote that I was 100% confident…read morethat they mean well. But I can admit when I am wrong and boy was I ever wrong! I would not believe it if this had not just happened to me, but the owner of this company, a man 2x my size, literally just showed up at my door to bully me into taking down this review! He actually told me that I am being "un-Christ-like" by not forgiving them! I told him that I can forgive them, but I still feel like I need to warn people about the toxic chemicals that they are using because they misrepresent themselves to their customers. Then he replied that he thinks that I just woke up yesterday morning and decided to destroy his business! So, you get to decide for yourselves. These guys do have some five star reviews, but I wonder how many of their other customers researched their products (like I did) verses taking their word for it (like I did at the beginning). And I wonder how many other people they bullied or bribed into taking down bad reviews. I am literally a full-time volunteer who works to facilitate interfaith dialogue between communities which have been warring for thousands of years (go ahead and google me), and even *I* can't work with this guy. I have nothing to gain from writing this review, other than the piece of mind knowing that I tried to warn my neighbors. So, you can either believe me, or the people who built their business with pictures of kids and dogs playing in beautiful nature, while secretly peddling bifenthrin. Personally I don't know anybody who has experienced anything life-altering from a bug bite, but I do know plenty of people struggling with fertility issues, neurological challenges, and kids with behavioral issues and learning disorders due to toxin exposure. So please do your own research and decide. UPDATE: I received a receipt for today's service which said that the bait boxes were empty, but I was standing there watching when the guy checked them and he said that they were still full (specifically he said that they were "mostly full, or still full depending on who filled them.") He didn't even top them off. And then, the manager called me and offered a full refund and to waive my cancelation fee *IF* I took down my review! So if you like dishonesty and bribery, this company is for you. Original review: We have tried *so* hard with this company. And to be fair, they have tried really hard with us. But we have had one terrible experience after another with them. They didn't show up for multiple appointments, missed a ton of very visible hornets' nests and mud dabber nests, left the garage door open on a rainy day which ended up drenching several boxes of stuff, and gave us contradictory information about rats at every visit. And after several months, not one of their traps ever caught a single rat. But the thing that ripped it for me was finding out today what is in their bug spray. The spray that they said was just essential oils, the spray that they used to soak our carpet, our doors including the door knob and doggy door, and even a few of my toddler's toys which were left near the wall, is actually a known neurotoxin and endocrine disrupter. If they had read the warning booklet they would have seen a long list of precautions to avoid human exposure and first aid in case it accidentally came into contact with skin, eyes, or the mouth. But they sprayed it on toys. Think about that for a minute. Poison on toddler toys. These people are genuinely some of the nicest people I have ever tried to work with. I am 100% confident that they mean well. I don't think they would have sprayed that crap on toys if they had known that it was toxic. (I even told them all about how careful we are about pesticides because we are trying to conceive again.) But for a company that brands itself as "Nature's Balance" and tells people that the spray is just peppermint oil, they *should* have known better.

We first signed up with Bulwark not long after moving into our home. Then one day, a competitor knocked on my door and convinced me to switch. I will not name names, but let us just say they had my anxiety on EDGE, and eventually I wanted to Seala way from them. After three months of misrepresented products and technicians cutting corners, I called Bulwark like a drunk ex begging them to take me back. They laughed with me, said it happens all the time, and welcomed me back with no hard feelings. They even let me return with my original promotional price. Maybe they say that to all their customers, but I felt special. I have been with Bulwark for at least four years now, and every technician has been helpful, professional, and thorough. They always give me a heads-up before they arrive, but they never expect a reply. If I am busy, they just get the job done and follow up by text with a full report, including what they treated, photos of treated or concerning areas, and any tips or suggestions. On days when I do have time to chat, they always remind me that they will come back out at no charge if I see pest activity between services. One time, I was on vacation and asked the technician if he would spray my garage if I opened it remotely. Of course, he said yes. He let me know when he was done so I could close it, then double-checked that I received his message when I did not reply right away. For the record, I was on Space Mountain. That is the kind of service Bulwark provides. But I digress. This review is supposed to be about Jacob W. I know Jacob W. probably gets cool points, money, a gold star, or whatever for being mentioned by name, but that is not why I am writing this. I am writing it because Jacob was just as great as every other Bulwark technician, with one extra bonus... when he arrived, I was carrying in my Costco delivery, and he genuinely offered to help bring it inside. Not in a "please mention this in a review" kind of way. He actually started reaching out to help. Of course, it was hot outside, so I was not about to make the poor guy haul my groceries, too. But he still gave me a clear rundown of the treatment, I topped off his water bottle, and he got to work. He cut absolutely no corners. At the end, he gave me a verbal report, including mentioning the wasp nest he knocked down that I didn't know about, which means he basically preemptively saved me from getting stung. Absolute legend. Even after giving me the verbal report, he still took the time to send everything by text as well. About an hour later, I was driving to my neighbor's house a few blocks away, and who did I see? Jacob W. And this man was executing a flawless parallel parking job. Completely unrelated to pest control, but frankly, I feel like it says a lot about his character. (I swear this part is completely true. Northern Daybreak on our narrow streets with too many cars always parked on them.) Jacob W. was kind, genuine, professional, and thorough. Now, as I understand it, there is more than one Jacob technician. This review is specifically for Jacob W. The rest of the Jacob alphabet should thank him, because W is making all Jacobs look good. Whatever reward, bonus, or kickback Jacob W. gets for this review, please add a little extra. Because while I am sure I could technically spray my own home, with service like this, why would I?
