I'm not even lowering my rating after his response; I'd rather stay fair than reactive. *ORIGINAL REVIEW*: I'm giving three stars because Tim, the plumber, was very nice, professional and helpful when we spoke on the phone. Unfortunately, the administrative side handled by Jade was a different story. I had booked an appointment for a drain clog and disposal repair but managed to resolve the issues myself. I messaged Jade to cancel with over 24 hours' notice to be respectful of their time and even followed up the next morning to ensure they saw the message so they wouldn't waste a trip. Instead of a professional acknowledgment, I received a lecture about how they "don't double-book" and that my 24-hour notice was "last minute." Not double-booking is standard for any plumber, and it shouldn't be used as a reason to guilt-trip a client for providing a full day's notice, especially when no specific cancellation policy was ever disclosed at booking. The response was dismissive, ending with a "wish you luck in the future." It's unfortunate because I actually had a second, larger project (a shower leak) I was planning to hire them for, but the unprofessional attitude from the office makes it impossible to do business here. If you hire them, just be aware that being respectful of their time might still result in a lecture if your plans change.

I won't name their name but after fast inital reponse - nada. So I called my goto plumbers. We went out and bought a replacement water heater from Ferguson (check out my review for them - awesome). My wife and I dollied and manipulated all 137lbs of that bad boy into the garage. Edgar was my tech from Magnificent (He thought it was a "check" vs. "replace"). This could have been a disaster because we are now at New Year's Eve. They typically only do commercial water heater replacement but calls his boss, gets the gren light and because we are loyal customers, discounts the service cost. He tells me he can do it, calls to re-arrange some family plans and just makes it happen! At the end, he noticed a pipe with some carbon monoxide venting which he also fixed. I immediately turned off the water main, and did a yelp search. I gave them a call and sent pictures. I had an appointment for 12-2 window. They showed just before 12. Indeed, my shower parts needed replacing but they also determined that the leaking from the ceiling in the garage was from a water heater pipe spraying water on the ceiling making it look like that. They fixed the shower situation, replaced my old water heater on the spot. The price was very reasonable, i didn't want to buy into a water heater plan, just give me close to whatever I had. Amazing what those 2 did in such a short time. They know what they're doing and how to price the services such that you don't have to shop around. That was what I experienced.
