Excellent service and tap shoe selection. Reasonably priced. Lauren and Jessica helped me to find just the right (Bloch) tap shoe. Lauren patiently worked with me to make sure I received the shoe that I wanted with the right fit for my feet and the right price for my wallet. My mother-in-law has been the one to buy my daughters' dance stuff. However, on this occasion I was in charge of competition dance shoes with the dance trio. When I say we visited half a dozen places, you need to understand we went all over the Pasadena/Deer Park, and Webster area. This is where we ended up. I was not impressed. Yes, it's a nice store, but the prices are - but high. The group needed up getting the "economy" shoe which was about $35. No, that's not a huge amount, but there are more economical shoes out there....they just weren't in all the groups sizes. Anyway, we also needed fishnet dance tights for the girls costume. Well, all the tights regardless of the kind were about $20. And no, that's not a horrible price either; however, they can still be purchased cheaper. If I'd had the opportunity to only be buying things for my daughter we would not have come here. However, a competition group must look alike and that means shopping together. There are other more "economical" dance stores in the area, and I'd much rather shop at those....or just continue to have my mother-in-law do the dance shopping. read more

I was there earlier this evening to buy a leotard, tights, and ballet slippers for my toddler. Maybe I not quite #dancemom, but I was shocked that it was over $50. The lady that helped me was super kind and helpful. I again lack the experience to say whether or not these prices were competitive or not. Unfortunately, I'll be stuck paying these prices becuase I don't like going into Houston and the other dance store in Friendswood (not associated with anyway with this store) has terrible customer service. read more

The lady who helped me (I feel awful for forgetting her name) was right there from the very beginning to the end. Super sweet and had the answers to all my questions (I had a lot as I am new to this dancing world - yes, it is a whole entire world, you'll see). -A star for resourcefulness - they have a list of all the dance organizations in the area and what they require for their classes so if you're that mom who knows less than nothing (I'm not judging you and neither will they) about what you're getting yourself (and your child) into, they've got you covered! -A star for location and accessibility - they are located right at the corner of Highway 3 (aka Galveston Rd) and Medical Center in Webster. -A bonus star for existing. Seriously. Amazon Prime couldn't even save me because my daughter's class started the NEXT day. The convenience made it worth the money. And the stars.Everything was all in one place. Sure, they may cost more than Wal-Mart or Target, but there's not a guarantee that you'll find everything, if anything at one location. It worked for me. I went in for some gear for my daughters college Colorguard tryouts and the person helping me was extremely rude and made assumptions about my financial situation.
