Not impressed... I drove 30 minutes to get here last week because they had the tights I needed. The lady argued with me that I was buying the wrong size for my child so I bought what she recommended. Turns out I was right...they didn't fit. I drove 30 minutes to get back here and they would not let me return them. Poor customer service. read more

I was recommended by a fellow Dance mom that this place has shoes for all ages and both boys and girls. I had been searching in many places for boys tap shoes and once I was able to finally make it during their business hours I walked in. What I do have to mention is the lovely cozy environment needless to say it consisted of mostly pink but Hey who doesn't wear a little pink in dance? As I walked in I was greeted by a lovely young girl asked me for my reason to come in and I told her that I simply needed BOYS tap shoes. The young girl said no problem, asked for my son's size and then mentioned to me that I came in at a great time since the shoes I needed where on Sale! (And yes I am always up for a sale!). My son tried them on and loved them! As he was trying them on and I ventured through their amazingly beautiful and gorgeous leotards, tutus, and dance gear my toddler daughter was very entertained by their small children's section which I appreciated for this boutique to be considerate of small children as parents shop for their dancer's gear. I went here a couple of weeks ago to get my lil one her first set of ballet shoes which they didn't sale at any store. I called and the young lady that answer said they did have them. I arrived and the young lady fitted my daughters fit and sure enough they had a pair that fit her. While there I also bought a ballet leopard since my daughter is so lil it was hard to find a Leo at any other store but found one that fit her just right. The prices were reasonably I have bought Dance wear for my other daughter at other places like Target, Amazon etc and it's all about the same price. While here I also needed up buying a small ballet bag. I will be back here sometime soon with my oldest to get a new leotard. The place was a lil small and look like it needed an update but overall had a good experience and the ladies were very helpful. First ballet class!! read more

In my opinion it's a little pricey for dance attire, especially if you have to purchase dance wear often. However they ALWAYS have what we need while other stores do not. 2 weeks ago I went to several Academy stores looking for footless tights and ballet shoes. No luck. We visit the store on Spring Cypress and 290 as well as this location. Her store is smaller on Spring Cypress but is our go to store for leotards. We live in DC and only ever buy our leotards from here. This store has a much bigger selection and worth the extra 20 minutes. The owner is very helpful and went out of her way to bring me extra tops from a store that was closed for me to choose from. read more
