I moved to West O from SoCal last July. After years of professional salon services, I was dreading finding someone new. I happened to land a job in Fremont and a co-worker had Shawna do her hair and I knew she was going to be IT. She works fast and I love my highlights! And she listens and is willing to change it up when you're ready (she makes helpful suggestions for next time and I love that). Ask for Shawna if you want kick-a** hair! read more

I was in town for a wedding and did not have time to get a haircut before I made the trip. The owner, Steve, booked my appointment and when I sat down in his chair he asked me what I wanted. Frustrated that I hadn't had a decent cut in years, I actually told him to shave my head if he thought it was best. He laughed me off and said he knew just what I needed. When he was done, I simply had the BEST haircut I have ever had. The best part was the compliments I received from friends and family - a first for me. Thanks Steve! read more

I arrived at 5 til 9 to locked doors, no one there. The stylist showed up at 9:06. With breakfast pizza! And no apology for being late. It took her 4 minutes to get all the computer stuff up and running. A walk-in came in, and she asked if I cared if she took that lady first! Finally, at 9:20, she got me settled in the chair, only to inform me that she couldn't promise my shirt wouldn't get ruined by the hair dye. What the heck!!! I got up and told her WE'RE DONE and walked out. She was the only one working on a Saturday. Worst, most ridiculously unprofessional experience I've ever seen. I feel like I escaped certain calamity....imagine if I had let this lackadaisical person put chemicals on my hair! Zero stars!!!!

Place wasn't very clean from water tap, dust on table and spills on employee cabinets, they offered…read moreacrylic nails but didn't understand how to do it . The pedicure was ok but they blotted on old poliah instead of getting new and didn't add a top coat. Was also upcharged for basic pink powder instead of clear, technicians didn't listen and didn't do well at all. Managers were unhelpful. They said they would have to take off the nails and start over to honor the manicure I requested instead of honoring the price because of techs mistake. Both toes and nails look horrible. Will not go back.

Absolutely not! I came in for a cat-eye design on my natural nails something that should've taken…read morenowhere near 3 hours. The service was terrible from the start. I walked in to find most of the techs either asleep or looking irritated, no one was welcoming at all. The tech who worked on me said she could do a cat-eye, but clearly had no idea how. She had to ask other techs for help multiple times, which felt extremely unprofessional. The result? All my nails look completely different because she applied uneven layers on each one. As for my sister, she got a regular manicure and left looking exactly the same as when she walked in. This place is not welcoming, not professional, and not worth your time. For your sanity, I highly recommend you avoid this salon at all costs. I will NOT be returning.
