Worst salon I've ever gone to! They're rude, extremely pricey, and will rush to finish your hair. I came in one day asking for a sew-in with a side part leave out and they said no problem. They finish my hair pretty quickly and give me the mirror. It looked terrible! I tried to get the hairdresser to fix it but she kept saying it was MY FAULT that my hair was too thin and yelling at me to pay up because she had things to do. After I told her repeatedly that I wouldn't pay she agreed to try to create a closure but it only made things worse. Then she told me she'd redo my hair. She took everything out and unbraided the cornrows underneath. Next thing I know she's telling me to leave because she and the other hairdressers do not feel comfortable redoing my hair. When I first arrived, I was asked to search through boxes in the back of salon for my hair color, which felt completely inappropriate to make matters worse she started braiding my hair while it was still wet, which is a big no for hair health. The stylist displayed a constantly rude demeanor, and her attitude was quite off, putting her communication style was unbecoming, making it difficult to feel comfortable or confident in her abilities. Her behavior was completely unethical demanding payment before the service was even completed felt coercive and unfair when the person before me didn't pay for their service until after it was completed. When I didn't comply, she became aggressive and argumentative, cutting the braids out my head, then continued to follow me out the door and launching abusive tirade of insults . Not very happy for my 1st time. I paid $80 for empress braids which I ended up having less fullness of braids and more my hair. My hair barely lasted a week it was all fuzzy after the braids, no gel down no moss over the braids nothing and my hair was wrapped for bed daily. Very disappointing. 1st visit great. Efficient good quality. Simple waist length box braids(180) 2nd time . Horrible.(160) Twist.provided crochet hair that can be used as twists . Twists unraveled within and hour of leaving salon. Further inspection at home where i have more than one mirror to give proper inspection. Unevenness and terrible ends throughout. I was upset in the salon when hair i provided was miss proportioned throughout and had to go get more when she clearly saw she was running out. Then they tried to tell me I provided the wrong hair for the style. Then if you are the professional why did you not say it? Instead of using hair incorrectly. When I asked for a take down and simpler box braid style which they can clearly do.(i feel it should have been at no additional charge) I was told itll be another 80 dollar.. or they'll just somehow fix it. This is the only salon that not only will charge to make something better. But also barely "fix" something they messed up beyond fixing anyway. I called to make an appointment and they let me come in within the hour! I just got some mini twists done for the first time, it felt and looked great at the end! The braiders kept asking me how it felt, if I wanted it tighter or looser, if I wanted a single twist or double twist. It was a great experience! Will be coming back for sure read more

This was the worst experience of my life. The only good thing about this business is that the shop itself looks nice. Large & enough space for many chairs. I arrived at 7:30 & left about 2:30 to go home & take it all out. It was an awful job. Now I see why they make you pay upfront & there are hardly any mirrors on the walls. When I contacted the owner & expressed my disappointment & how there was no way I would go out in public with the job that was done. She (Koko) proceeded to scream at me & call me a scammer. She refused to give me my money back & said my hair was fine. I showed the braider a pic of myself with Nubian Twists that I had once before , so she knew what I wanted. My hair didn't look anything like the pic. It was beyond terrible. Everyone I watched go in & out of the place that Day looked really upset at the way their hair looked. Men & women. They do disgusting work. No finishing, no gel, or mousse. Just grease. The braider didn't even know how to make my twists uniformed in length. Not was it layered. I looked like I had a mullet.
