I brought my daughter's team skirt in for alterations and paid $50 -- more than the cost of the…read moreskirt itself. We discussed in advance that only one side of the garment would be altered. Instead, the skirt was cut down the middle, completely changing the style and making it unusable for her team. I was never contacted when issues arose, even though it was clear the seamstress was having difficulty. A simple phone call could have prevented this. Because the skirt was ruined, I had to replace it out of pocket. Despite this, the shop only offered 50% off the alteration work. I did not receive a refund for the damaged garment or the service. I explained that ethically, when a customer's item is ruined during service, the business should replace the item and refund the work. That did not happen. Very disappointing experience.

I needed my pants taken in and my sleeves of my jacket brought in a bit. Measurements were very quick and I was given a date of two weeks later. I was offered earlier but I was months out from the wedding so I was in no hurry. Someone before me needed their suit within the week so I hope I helped a bit by sending myself to the bottom of the list. When I picked it up, I was asked to go in through the Dry Cleaning entrance. I was given my suit, tried it on, and if I had any questions or concerns, to ask the woman working at the front desk. All fit perfectly so I packed it all back up and left. Great price too! I think I paid only $70 for an expert tailor job.
