The club itself is wonderful, with a fantastic online reservation system and well maintained courts. The fountain is iconic, the trees and Spanish moss are gorgeous, and the shaded walking paths make it easy to slow down and enjoy the park. Lots of people were taking graduation photos while I was there, and I totally get why. It is such a pretty backdrop. Definitely worth stopping by, even if it's just for a quick walk and a few photos.

There are not adequate wheelchair access points on the sidewalks. We finally got to the pool and our disabled family member was told they couldn't go in without a swimsuit. She can't swim and had no need of a swimsuit but we just do things together no matter what. The lady was nice and they let her in but once in, the pool is not wheelchair accessible so our family member had to wait alone while everyone swam. Aside from that, there was the sign in sheet that asked for the color of everyone's skin. We are a mixed ethnicity family with a wide variety of skin tones and anyone intelligent knows that color is not ethnicity and honestly, why does it matter at all? How is this not racist?? I'm shocked. I've lived all over and been to both private and public pools and have never seen anything like this! Do better Savannah!

One of our favorite parts is how close the train tracks are--you can hear and see the train go by, which our grandson thinks is the best! He also enjoys feeding the turtles in the pond. You'll usually see people fishing and plenty of birds hanging around the water looking for fish. It's just a peaceful, fun park with a little something for everyone.
