Previous reviews of this course are doing it a major disservice. This course is awesome! Came in from out of town, normally play crosswinds or the Westin harbor but figured I'd try something new. Played from the blues and man, this was a blast! Greens obviously need some work. Lady working in the clubhouse mentioned it, plus we've had no rain hardly recently so they're having a hard time keeping them up but not all greens were bad. Played 09/26/25. 2 complaints. The greens are not greens, their had mud on most holes. Now, if you have back problems and take a golf cart make an appointment with your spine doctor first. My back actually got hurt. The cart path in some areas probably test armored tank suspensions - and fail. DO NOT RIDE THE CART ON PATH !!! Besides what I mentioned the course is very playable and challenging. read more

At $60 per person, a heads up on the condition of the greens would have been appreciated. They were in horrible shape. We got to the point that we didn't even attempt to putt. read more

Sunday review at SouthbridgeGolf: at the turn, I opted for the standard glizzly, a bag of Doritos, and a transfusion. The glizzly exceeded my size expectations, and the transfusion's ginger ale was substituted with Sprite. The bun was crispy on the outside and clean on the inside. I added no condiments and would recommend the same. The chips complemented a wonderful lunch. Overall, the greens require improvement, but lunch was great. read more

One of the worst courses I've ever played. We left after 9 because the greens literally not puttable. Giant craters on every green. Putting is impossible here. read more

Loved this course for many reasons. First and foremost was the staff. I had left my range finder accidentally at the course and Mark from the pro shop went out of his way to send it back to me since I live out of state after I sent him the shipping label. On top of that, the course was beautiful (even though it was early season and had some ground under repair). Really well taken care of and the tall tree lined fairways with balanced placement of water made the course well worth the drive. A few days earlier we had played Savannah Harbor and while both were great, we left Southbridge feeling like we got more value for the price. read more

I've play golf here on two occasions and found the course very nice and well maintained. It's one of those courses that is surrounded by houses but they aren't so close that you feel like you are going to hit your ball into someone's kitchen. They have a happy hour on Friday night that is ridiculous it's so great. The bar is super tiny having only three chairs and room for about four others to stand. But they do have a spacious window filled dining area that has plenty of space no matter how big your party might be. A large group of us met there and found it quite comfortable. They have a few beers on tap and offer a full bar. We ordered some apps. My friend ordered the sampler and I ordered the fried pickles. It was very good. We are vegetarians and they let us substitute chicken for other finger foods. I had two drafts and my daughter had two bottled beers. Four beers and an app for $15 plus tip. Crazy but true. The bartender, Regina is super sweet. I can't wait to go back!!! read more

where do we start ? !?!?!?!? the practice green was closed, and we could tell why. it looked like someone scalped it bald. people were cutting the grass in front of us, leaving chunks of grass throughout the fairway. 10/18 (atleast) of the greens were pitiful already and had recently been punched to make it that much worse. lots of the tee boxes were bare dirt. i would never recommend anyone going here, way over priced for what it is!!!!!! read more

Staff and a few of the members were extremely friendly. The course was not in great shape. The woman's tee areas were non existent because original areas were being revamped. Greens were uneven and hard to putt on. Old school type of course. read more

I play golf here pretty often and absolutely love this golf course. They are doing a ton of improvements to the course and getting it back to where it needs to be. The staff is extremely nice and the facilities are very good. I would highly recommend this Far as the value and the layout. I love the fact that it was constantly improving the course conditions. read more

Play this course this weekend and it is fantastic. It is in the best shape it's been in years. Went and had a burger after I got done with my round and the food program there has substantially increase their quality and service! Would suggest this course to any friend any time. Drove 6 hrs to visit a friend that moved to Savannah. I didn't expect a yes, but I politely asked the guy in the pro shop if we could play a five-some. He could have politely just said "no" but instead, he rudely said "Absolutely not. If I even hear that you guys are playing in a group of five I will personally come out there and separate you." One of my friends went into the pro shop after me to buy some balls and the employee asked him "Are you with the group of five? I better not catch you playing together or we are going to have problems." Then, after hole 9, my other friend went to buy balls, and the same employee cornered him in the pro shop and asked him, "Are you with that group of five from this morning? If you played golf before you would know that you can't play five." If they didn't want us to play five that's fine, no big deal. But it was very rude and inappropriate that the guy in the pro shop was talking to our group in such a condescending manner. I would assume that you would treat customers better, but I guess not when you are "Holier Than Thou" because you work in a pro shop. If you are thinking of playing here, let me spare you the time and trouble, DON'T! Save your money and go to a course that actually treats you like a human being. I wish I could leave a 0/5 star. read more

An interesting course. Cart paths are not in very good shape and with a 90 degree rule it was annoying. The staff was less than pleasant but it might just have been the day. read more
