The fountain is iconic, the trees and Spanish moss are gorgeous, and the shaded walking paths make it easy to slow down and enjoy the park. Lots of people were taking graduation photos while I was there, and I totally get why. It is such a pretty backdrop. Aside from that, there was the sign in sheet that asked for the color of everyone's skin. We are a mixed ethnicity family with a wide variety of skin tones and anyone intelligent knows that color is not ethnicity and honestly, why does it matter at all? How is this not racist?? I'm shocked. I've lived all over and been to both private and public pools and have never seen anything like this! Do better Savannah!

They also have some very clean and well stocked and well lit bathrooms which really impressed me the most considering it is. publci space. I was grateful to dind both toilet paper, hand washing soap, and paper towels in this place. There was a park attendent nearby to serve as both the watchful security and the restocker for supplies. I will stop over to take advantage of the 3mile footpath in the future.
