The Bacon Station has come to my work twice for different work events we've hosted. Holy bacon! Their regular BLT has a TON of bacon. 5-6 strips and lots of bacon bits that they've chopped up. Their bread is delicious as well. The man who took my order (I'm assuming he's the owner) is super friendly. I tried the fries this last visit and they were pretty good but not my favorite. The positive part from this experience was the friendly gentleman who took my order. It went downhill from there.... This was by far the worst food from a food truck I have ever had. I got the Porkie's fries, and they were horrible. The sassy sauce on the fries is just plain gross; it was some jellied substance that smelled odd. Bacon Station was supposed to serve lunch at our school during teacher appreciation week. Despite the forecast showing 90% chance of rain for the next day, Bacon Station did not communicate that they were canceling until 7:45am today! Many teachers had planned on this for their lunch and the fact that they didn't have the courtesy to communicate this until school started is ridiculous. They stated that they aren't available until July and would come back next school year. No thank you. read more

Went to First Friday Food Truck Festival in downtown Indianapolis, excited as can be about finding some glorious bacon cheese fries. After waiting an entire hour in line, Bacon Station announced that they have run out of food. (Keep in mind that it was 7:45pm and the festival closes at 10pm) Highly unprofessional, and if I could give a word of advice, you should attempt to stay open for the entirety of these kinds of events because you will profit more. read more

The food exceeded our expectations! We had the cowboy burger and almost famous (shredded pork ) - before we ordered the cowboy burger we noticed a friend eating onion rings . We didn't see this on the menu - we realized the onion rings was with the cowboy burger . We asked cook to set out onion rings on side - we wished they would have a side order of onion rings on menu . I would recommend they add this to menu . Great service, great food and great prices! Even better is the opportunity to support a local business. A great idea for neighborhoods, parks, and businesses. We will certainly be keeping an eye out for the Bacon Station so we can visit again! We ordered The Oinker, Almost Famous, Bacon grilled cheese, Porkies fries, and a fully loaded fries. If you love bacon and excellent customer service, you HAVE to eat here! Bacon station constantly comes to my work on food truck days, and I am completely impressed. While the menu is fairly basic, their food is nothing short of fantastic. So, I was working and leaving a neighborhood. I saw the truck. I stopped to try them out. I looked up there Facebook page to see if this was pre order only. It says nothing about it. I waited in line for 15-20 minutes. Very slow on getting food out and orders taken. Only one person running it all. After the 15-20 in line, he announces he will not be able to get to the rest of the line! Wtf!? What does that mean? Out food, out of time, is it preorder only? I don't understand why a food truck would only do preorder only (if that is the case) that is loosing money from the walk ups! Like me! I had never heard of them and was going to order a lot! Now I'm not even going to bother following them cause there is no clear way of there process! read more

Had this food truck over the summer in a neighborhood in New Palestine. Was absolutely fantastic! The line was so long, I believe they actually ran out of food! Luckily we were close-ish to the front, and got our food in a very timely manner. Prices were very fair, and the value for the money was great! Now, if they only posted their upcoming locations....I want more! read more
