Tried BB&B today for the first time. My expectations aren't to high for food trucks BUT this was goood I had a cheese dog ($8) with hot cheeto topping ($1) and all the sauce as they called it lol The flavor from the first bite a hint of sweet and more of spicy made me feel like the little fat rat on ratatouille when he tasted the cheese and strawberry together It was unexpectantly good. I also got the deep fried sticky bun ($6). It was good but a little to sweet for me. However it made me feel like I was at the state fair again. The 2 gentlemens customer service were amazing as well. Their vibe was real cool. We had a good ol laugh at my impatient boyfriend that was on the phone too lol.

The food was great!! They catered an event we attended and the organizers chose a very very small menu, but it was delicious. The man taking orders was friendly and the food came out after only a short wait. The menu was corn dogs, a deluxe corn dog, or mozzarella stick. I heard nothing but great feedback from everyone that tried them. The desserts were a donut trio and they were delicious! Everything was freshly fried and had sugar on top. I'd love to find this truck out and about and try more of what they typically make.

    Breakfast sandwiches on brioche donuts!

I was so delighted to roll up and see the BB&B Bread Truck parked right at my church. I'd been wanting to try it for so long and after learning about how cool the owner is (he studied at Le Cordon Bleu culinary school in France, traveled the world, and returned to Indy to make these delicious treats), I was pumped to meet him too. This food truck makes bourbon buttermilk brioche donut holes that are usually stuffed with some type of cream, jelly or Nutella. This day, they were offering breakfast sandwiches on the donuts and I couldn't resist. The sandwich description: "Maple sugar dusted brioche doughnuts stuffed with maple bourbon bacon, egg, gouda cheese, and pickled apple chutney." Okay, yum! They were delicious as they sounded, AJ was awesome, and he mentioned wanting to return to Mercy Road Church on Sundays when possible. Looking forward to it! Keep crushing it out there!

You guys!! I love finding new, hidden gems of places in Indy and sharing them with you all and, oh boy, do I have a new one for you! I found the BEST sweet treats last June in Indy - Books Bourbon and Bacon! Let's be honest, I was sold in the name alone and then I tasted these brioche donuts and I'm a fan for life. These bad boys are the real deal. His flavors change frequently based on the season or upcoming holidays. My first order was called "fire treats", the flavors were s'mores rolled in graham cracker sugar, bananas foster rolled in cinnamon sugar, and burnt orange and rosemary rolled in orange sugar. The owner, AJ, also had a beer trio which used Sun King Wee Mac, Upland Wheat, and Three-Floyd's Gumballhead that I hope he brings back! AJ's story is pretty neat - he's a world traveler, recovering politician, and Kung fu guru who moved back to Indy last year from culinary school in Paris (nbd) and was due to hike the Appalachian Trail this last year but #COVID postponed those plans and he opened a "garage bakery" out of his downtown apartment and now he's got a food truck that he produces these bad boys along with other, more savory baked goods like sourdough and focaccia. Check his page out - there isn't a single thing he makes that I wouldn't try.

These guys were posted outside 16 bit slanging Korea dogs so it looked promising. I was more in the sweet tooth side so I got their brioche donuts. You can choose 3 different flavors for 9 bucks. The marshmello one was awesome with giant marshmello melted on the outside. So soft and chewy definitely give their donuts a try if you're craving something sweet :)

If you are looking for a unique meal in Indy or a food truck vibe this is my favorite option around. Now the one thing you need to do is follow them on social media because they move around a lot. Either plan or get lucky if you want to try this fried paradise! Recommend going all in, get the cheese and hotdog combo! You won't be disappointed

My first experience with the BB&B Bread Truck was when they parked outside the Indiana State Library and our team came down from the fourth floor to get "anything better than the cafeteria." It was a happy day. I don't honestly remember what I got apart from the brioche doughnuts. I decided to share with my coworkers and immediately regretted that. It's appropriate to picture Gollum saying "Mineses" here. Fast forward to this past September when through my now husband and I were getting married in the backyard. He loves corn dogs, I love food, and we did NOT want to fuss around with something catered in a traditional way. BUT we did have some out of town guests coming in and it seemed like a good thing to feed people. We were SOOOO happy with having the Bread Truck come to the house, park out front, and provide what was the absolute highlight of our wedding (as opposed to the highlight being us actually getting married). Everyone had a great time, the truck crew was amazing, and the food was off the chain. It even made the big pile of dirt left in the front yard from a sewer line replacement (thanks old Indy infrastructure) seem okay.

I was finally in the same area as this food truck and jumped on the chance to order! Let me preface - I was more excited about the brioche donut sampler than the Korean corn dog, but wanted to give it all a fair shot. I ordered the donut trio - Nutella, funfetti, and fluffernutter fillings. Then, on the advice of the food truck staff, I ordered an all-beef corn dog with Panko topping and Korean BBQ sauce. I brought my lunch home and let the surprises begin. The corn dog BLEW ME AWAY. It was delicious! Gorgeously crunchy topping, lovely Korean BBQ sauce with just a touch of heat, and the all-beef dog. I don't like corn dogs usually, but I will make this the exception. It was fantastic. The brioche donuts were also very good, and very decadent. To be honest, after watching the corn dog, I was too full to fully enjoy the donuts. The fillings are rich. But very good! I strangely liked the funfetti the best, I believe because it was lighter than the others. I highly recommend this food truck! Maybe stick with a corn dog or the donuts - or keep the donuts for a later time. It's a lot more food than you think!

I was so happy to make it to Mass Ave and try BB&B food truck this weekend! I got the chicken slider and duck fat fries and absolutely loved it!! So much on their menu looked really good. I want to try the grilled cheese and beignets. I knew they would be here from their instagram page so I would keep an eye on their social media to see where they will be! I also reached out to them on Instagram with a question and they got back to me within a day. So they are definitely active on social media if you have questions. There was parking right out front which was so nice since sometimes on Mass Ave you can't find parking! Really happy with my experience here and can't wait to try more!!

Serving at the Indy 11 match

I've been following the BB&B truck for some time now, the menu has always been fascinating to me, and the owner is someone I've known and followed for years. While at an Indy 11 soccer match I was finally able to try some of the goods, and it was GOOD! I had the super dog corn dog, it was amazing. I'm a huge fan of corn dogs to begin with, and the layers on this dog did not disappoint. I must mention, the hotdog was BACON WRAPPED!! The breading was very tasty and had a great crispy outside, and the sauces were all tasty with just enough heat to add to the savory nature of the treat. Beyond the corn dog, the device was super friendly and prompt, however it took a while for the food to come out. I totally accept this delay as everything is hand prepared when you order, no corn dogs sitting under a heat lamp for an unknown period of time. I highly recommend stopping by this truck if you get the chance.

    Chicken and waffles

I've been wanting to try this truck for a while and saw they were going to be posted up at West Fork Whiskey so I decided to give it a try. We had the Korean chicken and waffles, frites and Chicken and fawaffle. The chicken was so good. Crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. My boyfriend loves fried chicken and is a tough critic. He gave the chicken two thumbs up. The frites were also amazing. We wished there was more syrup/sauce for both of the chickens. Also, the fawaffle was not our favorite. It needed to be a bit crispier. We definitely will have this again. Looking forward to see some of their other menu options.

CBD Brioche Crowd Pleasers Trio (Fluffernutter, Funfetti, Nutella)
    Brittany F.

I have been following BB&B since supporting the Kickstarter and have been waiting not-so-patiently to get my hands on some. What stuck out to me about the stuffed brioche donuts originally was how creative the flavor combinations were; once there was a Thai trio (please do again so I can grab some this time!). AJ, the owner, has detailed his journey in getting his food truck on his website and Instagram. You can tell how much this business means to him and how much he puts into it. He drives 1,000 miles just to get quality, stone ground flour in Iowa for his bread and brioche doughnuts. You'll want to check his Instagram/website for the menu that week and where he'll be (could do events, like for Mardi Gras he had partnered with Hotel Tango). Generally during the week the truck is situated around the corner from Quills and 9 on the Canal apartments. On Saturdays, he is currently partnering with Elevate CBD Bakery in Fountain Square to offer CBD and non-CBD brioche doughnuts that you have to preorder. Be aware pickup is at Noon, so it's more like a brunch treat rather than breakfast noms ;). We got the CBD Crowd Pleasers (Nutella, Fluffernutter, and Funfetti) at Elevate. Our favorite was definitely the Funfetti! These doughnuts are fried with sugar coating, and then with a generous filling. Sure, I love my yeast doughnuts - but these are unique and I've never had anything like this before. I'm looking forward to seeing what flavors AJ comes up with next!

The photo doesn't do it justice, but trust me, if these are being offered, order them.
    Brittany K.

I'm so glad we found out about AJ and his stuffed brioche! His commitment to consistency and his craft are so clear through every order I've bought from him. His brioche trios have been the highlight of many of my weekends and I'm so glad he's got a truck now and is serving them up more frequently! Last night, my partner and I went to get some of his beignets and they were PERFECT. Warm, fluffy, just sweet enough. He also tossed in a Nutella stuffed one which was amazing. I'm drooling just thinking about it. If you're looking to try some of his delectable desserts, make sure you're following the truck about on Instagram so you can stay up to date with where he'll be each week. Can't wait to see how BB&B grows!

The Cherry Basque Cheesecake -- this pastry was the house favorite. The texture of this cheesecake was creamy, but somehow still spongey.. cakey, but more like pudding. Mix that with the juiciest sour cherries and the crunch of a biscoff crust.. mind blown was an understatement. We're looking forward to what Beurre Sec has planned for their next pop-up
