They took it for a drive and within 15 minutes they were able to replicate and tell me what was going on. Bad new is my transmission was slipping and needed replacing. The great news is that all the places I went to gave me prices for a replacement since I was thinking worst case scenario. They were it the cheapest, but they were definitely not the most expensive either. They were almost in the center of my quotes but had a 3yr 100k mile warranty that included parts and labor. I got updates every time something was being done and like you see in the photo, I also got pics and texts of the progress. The staff was super friendly and helpful with everything. Trust and believe you will be in great hands when they tell you what is wrong and what they can do to fix it. No price gouging! Just honest people who do great work!!

I had an issue with my transmission running hot intermittently and dropped off my vehicle for a…read morediagnostic of the issue and asked if they could check the pressure in the cooling lines as I thought that's a good place to start. I specifically asked to be notified before anything was dropped, transmission, pan, etc... Well the only diagnosis was they dropped the trans pan anyway without authorization, sent a short video of very fine metallic particles that gather in all transmissions and said you need a new transmission for $5500-$6000. There was no other diagnosis to come to that conclusion, it shifts fine, just is throwing error codes due to a specific failing part, not an entire transmission needing replaced. Regardless, when I went to pick it up the next day after declining their offer of a new transmission based on that expert diagnosis, thankfully I noticed the brand new leak under the transmission otherwise the transmission would have been toast. The service tech only screwed in the drain bolt 3 turns, if I would have left the parking lot all my fluid would have came out within a few miles and I would have needed a new trans immediately. Thankfully I could use my fingers to screw it back in until I could get home to get a wrench. In addition to that I now have a leaking transmission pan gasket from where the unauthorized pan drop was done and am a quart low on fluid. And I paid for that diagnostic service to have it come out worse than I brought it in with the original problem never even looked into. Even the check engine lights weren't reset that it came in with. It would have been better if they had done nothing at all. Please steer away from this transmission shop at all costs.

Upon arrival I was told that the owners truck was stuck on the lift and it would be at least a half hour before he would arrive and remove it from the lift. I left and returned an hour later and they took my car in and I was told the service would take 45 minutes. An hour and a half later I received a text from the company that told me I had 10 immediate services required including battery terminal replacement, fluid changes and recommend new tires. Note: I just had the tires replaced by another company the day before. When I get to the counter the tech asks me if I have any questions about the text I received and I said No but I have a 20% Holiday Discount I printed from their website. The woman at the counter said my total would be $118 and I asked about the 20% discount and she said my $12 discount was included. I told her 20% of $120 is $24. And she said "this is what the system is telling me". I ended up paying $105 but when I got home I noticed a $8.64 job supply fee. What parts did they need to supply that I didn't receive?? Be warned. They are predatory. I won't be back.

Gave them a call and the gentleman that answered the phone said they had some tires in stock and gave me a price that was lower than everyone else. I asked if they did walk ins or if I needed an appointment. He said come on in and he would get me in right away. As I pulled up I saw that they also did state inspections. I was in and out of there very quickly. The waiting area is nice and very clean. I will definitely be going back for any auto repair needs.

They had always given me great vehicle service and great customer service as well. Today picking up my Jeep from the new NTB shop I found no changes to complain about. Same friendly faces and service. This time I'm going to make payments using their NTB credit card. I would never do that but they have $50 off for getting it and no interest for 12 months. Can't beat that. Also able to use online coupons as well. A great deal. My jeep is a 2003 with 240,000 miles on it. I put all those miles on it. Now my daughter drives it. I'm so happy NTB takes great care of it! I wouldn't take it anywhere else!

Nothing beats getting your car back after watching the techs take it for a spin to test the job smelling like vape. Should I really have to tell a tech not to vape in my car? Positives, the front desk guys are friendly and apologetic. Negatives, be prepared to wait and drive home with your windows rolled down to try and get rid of vape fumes. To make matters worse all four of these tires are basically new and less than 30 days old! Anyway, this whole thing was driving me nuts, so I started shopping around for a place. I remembered this local place that allowed you to drive up for on-the-spot repair and they work on your tire(s) while you wait in your car, so I decided to give them a try and I'm really glad I did. When I arrived there were a couple of cars ahead of me, which wasn't a big deal since this place is similar to a drive-thru you allowing you to conveniently wait your turn in your car. They work pretty quickly here and before I knew it I'm pulling forward to get my tire looked at. The mechanic was friendly, respectful, and took the time to listen to what was going on with my tire. He quickly got the tire off, diagnosed the problem, and explained what needed to be done in plain language. The problem was with the valve stem, which had a leak. The mechanic got right to work making the repair and explaining to me what he was doing. The work was done efficiently and correctly, and he made sure everything was explained to my satisfaction. There was no pressure, no upselling, and no runaround; just honest work and solid service. Oh, and the cost of this repair was less than 25 bucks! I couldn't believe I received this much service and such great work at this price point. What makes this place stand out to me is the customer service from all of the staff, but in particular the mechanics themselves that are actually working on your car. Usually, the people working on your car are hidden in a garage somewhere while you wait in a waiting room, so you never actually meet the mechanic working on your car. At Mac's you are up close and personal to the mechanic. That's a huge plus in my book. You can tell this is a local business that actually cares about its reputation and all of the customers coming there. It's the kind of shop where they remember you, talk to you with respect, and make sure you leave satisfied. If you're tired of chain shops and want to support a local business that does quality work and treats customers right, this is the place to go. They earned my trust, and I'll definitely be back for future tire and service needs. Highly recommended!
