This place is ridiculous. I don't know if they're set up for lack of employees. But talking about completely unorganized. I went in there about three weeks ago and have them give me quotes on for phones at two tablets. We were there for probably a half an hour. All that needed to be fixed was the screens. They told me they would call me once they ran the diagnosis on one of the tablets. The charging for it wasn't working very well. I left them two phones and two tablets. They said it would take 10 days to do diagnose and order the parts and repair. They called me about 3 days later with one of the phones fixed. I said what about the other phone and tablets. The guy said they hadn't done anything with it yet. And then my items got bumped. He said he would make sure they got taken care of. Hair we are about a week and a half after that and I just called. They have the other phone fixed but have an order the parts for the tablet. They said oh you're least 7 to 10 days out for the parts. This is after a 15-minute conversation about what I brought in. The guy supposedly lost my phone number. Had to be asked me what devices I brought in. Completely avoid this place. I will never be back. It has been a huge headache. Update. They called me a week ago to let me know that they were ordering the parts. I told the guy that you already called. Please confirm they were ordered. He did say they were ordered. Received another call to come pick up my devices. Went in this morning and picked them up. I am giving them 2 stars because they did complete the work... I waited 20 mins in the store this morning. The guy couldn't find my items... then he couldn't find the invoices for billing. They REALLY need to update their process. read more

just now I brought my iPad 3 to get fixed because it would not turn on. They said that they would check it out and call me. If I didn't go through with the repair it would cost me $20. they called back the next day and said that it needed a new charger port and that it would be $129. I said to go ahead with the repair. A couple days later they called and said it was fixed. I picked it up and it worked. About a month later it stopped working and I took it in and I was told it probably needed a battery. Which would cost me another $250. I said what if it just the charger port again they said it probably wasn't and that I would have to pay $200 up front. I asked why they couldn't just check the port first and he said that it was the battery. I asked why they didn't check the battery on the last repair and he said they were just replacing the charging port. They wouldn't even look at it. Do not take your phone here! We took my daughters IPhone here to have the screen replaced and paid around $120. Four months later the phone literally split it two, it was not dropped the screen just lifted and came away from the phone. They told us it was a manufacture defect on the screen that caused the issue, although they refused to repair the phone because it was out of their old 90 day warranty (approximately 30 days out of 'warranty') So... even acknowledging their manufacture defect, they wanted to change us for the repair. I asked them why I should trust them to correctly repair the phone this time? To which he replied "we use higher quality products", I asked if he was joking??? Anyway, I think I will take my business to their competition and will refer all my friends and family to do the same. read more

I took it to the Apple Store and they offered to replace the whole display for $129, which "might" solve the problem. Seemed pretty drastic to me, so I brought it to bad apple. I sent my phone in on 04/09/2022 to have my charging port fixed. I was quoted a 2.5hr wait time before I could go pick it up. upon picking up my phone the charging port was working wonderfully, however I had zero connection to my cell network. when I took it back in, about 5 minutes after I had walked out, I was told that the likely reason for this was an incorrectly inserted sim tray and that I would have to wait until 04/11/2022 before they could fix their mistake. So I sent my phone back in on 04/11 and they repaired that. However, it then created another problem: I no longer had a working speaker phone and no working ringer outside of vibration. So I once again waited for the part to be in. On 04/16/2022 I returned my phone to the Bad Apple store in South Jordan at 10:30 am with the promise that it would be done in an hour. As of almost 14:30 I still have yet to hear anything in regards to what's going on with my phone. What upsets me the most is that this company came so highly recommended to me and they have failed me 3 times now. read more

I was visiting UT in March 2015 and cracked my iphone 6 screen. I had it repaired at Bad Apple in South Jordan. Within a week (and after I had left UT), the glass started coming apart on from the iphone on the sides. I had to take it to the Apple store where I live to have it fixed, which resulted in me paying for the repair twice. I called Bad Apple, and they said they would not refund (or even partially refund) me. They said they would have been willing to re-do the work if I would have mailed them the iphone, something I would not have wanted to do since I'd not have my phone for about a week.
