Bad ass coffee is right. Their coffee is smooth and flavorful. Having just finished a vacation on the islands, I can attest their bitterless Kona coffee seemed to be the real deal. It left me with a mild buzz, no jitteriness and minimal acidity. I will say though that LA has led me to be more of a coffee snob than I realized. Don't expect a heart poured into your latte. Service is a bit slow. The gal at the register didn't know what they were out of and had to check anytime someone approached the register to order and asked for a food item (none coffee). And because this is one of the few legitimate coffee places around, it's extremely popular so the line quite literally goes out the door. There's also limited waiting space inside. All that being said, their coffee was very good. Just know before you go. They maybe in Florida but they're on island time! read more

I was impressed with this place. I was worried it would be a long wait because of the line but they actually worked very quickly and efficiently. The blueberry muffin was moist and divine. Very friendly staff manning this cute little shop near the beach. We walked in because of the funny name but will come back because it was some bad ass coffee! I believe all of these coffees are Hawaiian (mahalo!) and they sell single source beans from Kona (one of the top selling beans anywhere on earth). We ordered the macadamia nut and hazelnut specialty and two breakfast sandwiches on Hawaiian rolls. All were tasty. I got the iced three way coffee. When I got my coffee and tried a sip the milk tasted spoiled. I let the barista know and she apologized and made me a new one but it tasted the same. They used the same jug of milk from my first cup and continued to use it in other customers drinks. read more

Only coffee bar on the island and luckily it's actually really good!! Staff is super friendly and can pretty much make whatever you like! I got the iced Beach Bliss coffee that is white chocolate and macadamia nut but half sweet. The largest size they have in an iced for this drink has 4 shots of expresso so I felt like that was plenty. Just note there is no where to sit and hang out at this coffee shop. My wife and I went here for a coffee and breakfast sandwich and it seemed that us being there was very inconvenient for the workers because they had to do their job. They were very short with us and acted like we were supposed to know that one of their sandwiches wasn't available even though there wasn't a sign saying so. One of the ladies had big time RBF, if you know what I mean. She also acted like I was supposed to know that they have honey packets instead of them just adding honey to the coffee. What a great little hidden hem we found just driving by. We had to make a unturned to come and try it. We walked in and the barista was very friendly explaining the different drinks and the banana milk. We had to try the banana milk Mocha monkey( dark chocolate and banana) and oat milk Dark chocolate macadamia nut along with a blueberry scone and strawberry rhubarb muffin. We ordered both of them half sweet. We also had them grind some blueberry beans for us to take home. They were truly amazing, We found this to be the best coffee on our trip and wish we had one at home. The pastry were good but the coffee was for sure the star! I left one of my java gnome painted rocks on the counter. Only thing we missed was a place to sit and enjoy our coffee. A bench outside would make it even better. We really enjoyed this spot-it's not closed as the listing shows! Had it twice on our trip. I had an iced latte with coconut the first time- it was great. Had the pina colada iced shaken espresso the second time - also a neat combination and it had a very good coffee taste still! My husband really liked the cold lava cold brew- it's plain as it comes which he wanted since he hates sweet coffee but make sure you add some creamer/syrup to the cold lava (which is cold foam) or coffee if you want more sweetness! When you come to Pensacola this is a must to visit. Forget about the crappy pod coffee they have at the rental houses. This is the place to be every morning. Our family made it a morning routine and we got to know the workers for the little week we were in town. All of them consistently amazing and welcoming. Especially Faith who's been there every single day working in low season. The coffee is not the only thing to purchase here. The pastries are to die for. Highly recommend to give it a try when coming to town. No joke one of the best coffees I've tried and I travel a lot and visit plenty of these small shops. I wish I had one of these next to where I live in Texas. To top it all the store is on the quiet side of the island and after acquiring your cup you should visit the little tiny beach behind by the restaurants which in the morning brings so much peace and zen if anyone's ever looking for that. read more
