If you are looking for a bail bonds company, do not use Bad Boys. My lawyers recommended Ryan Leary at Premiere Bail Bonds but I decided to go with Bad Boys and now I regret it. There is a complete lack of professionalism and follow through with Bad Boys. After our case was dismissed and our bond was exonerated, it should have taken them a month to get the paperwork from the court and remove the lien from our house. Instead it took 11 months and me following up with them countless times before they took any action! I contacted them over 20 times to close out our bond contract and Justin kept transferring me from one person to another and they completely dropped the ball on our case. They kept saying that the court offices were closed so they could not get the paperwork...but Premiere Bail Bonds was able to get the paperwork in 2 days and they helped me at the request of my lawyer and at no charge. This is a review for the San Jose office even though I live in San Diego. In April of this year I had to set up bail for a relative on a bogus arrest (which the entire case got dismissed). Unfortunately I called this place. They set up a down payment plus a payment plan. Every 8th of the month my payment was due with a 5 day grace period. Not once have I missed a payment. Every 7th of the month I get a reminder call from them and from the 8th on they start calling. Even when I already paid there is still confusion, one time they gave me credit for two payments instead of one and when they found out they called me to see if I wanted to make that 2nd payment that they had mistakenly given me credit for. Ummm no!!! So then last Friday which was the 8th of September I received a call from them and didn't answer because I was at work. Less than 5 minutes later my coworker/friend tells me that someone from a bail bond place just called her saying they were looking for me, she had no idea what was going on. There are only certain situations a reference would need to be called right? Not according to Bad Boys Bail Bonds. They also obviously don't know how to use discretion because the rep told my reference all my business. I was highly upset because on top of the hounding they do every month, now they called one of my references on the SAME DAY MY PAYMENT WAS DUE. I called back and spoke with Sofia who had made the call to my reference. I was very upset asking her why she would call my references when my payment is due today (9/8). I told her I wanted to speak to her manager, she gave me a name 'D' said he was not available but he would call me back. I never received a call back. I ended up emailing him and I finally got a call back from someone I think called Steffen, he said he was the dept. manager. He proceeded to tell me the reason why Sofia felt the need to call my references was because my account showed I was behind by $300. I told him I had never been behind! He said "Oh I know, that was our mistake the way your account was set up in the first place, your payment due date should actually be the 15th so it shows you are behind every month, but I already went ahead and fixed it." The way he spoke was like he was doing ME a favor to fix their own mistake so that their collection reps wouldn't feel the need to start calling references when I never had a past due balance to begin with. He also said they have had to call me so many times in the past because I was late which is a lie because I have all my bank statements with the dates of my payments. I always paid within the grace period and even was courteous enough to call and let them know what day I would be making the payment! Bottom line if you want a bail bond company to make errors on your account and not even show any concern on the consequences of their own errors, constantly hound you on your due date and if you don't pick up they start calling your references, keep calling you for payment even though you already made an arrangment, and come up with imaginary past due amounts (which by the way not one single person that I ever spoke with mentioned this "past due balance" that he talked about), call Bad Boys Bail Bonds. If you want to deal with a legit company and not a bunch of bullies, call someone else! read more

Like I said I have bailed out through them before you would think they would cut me a break. There are places that let will let you out for way cheaper. I bailed out through Buffy Sparacino. My bail was 20,000. I paid 1600. 800 down payment no co-signer. I had a warrant I called him, he found out what it was. We went down to the jail filled out paperwork it took a half hour. Bad boys wanted the full 2g's. I would have had to go to jail first. I (a friend of the defendant) originally called Aladdin and went to their office, about 11:20, when the jail stopped accepting bonds at midnight. I filled out the paperwork, and was asked to make my down payment BEFORE being approved, which I refused. Although my income and credit were more than satisfactory, and I had the defendant's blood-related brother with me as a cosigner, they refused because the defendant's parents didn't want to be involved, at 11:40, with only 20 minutes remaining. I drove down the street looking for the next open Bail Bonds store, and found Bad Boys a couple of blocks down the road. I rushed inside and told them that we needed to hurry before the midnight cutoff, and Vanessa worked quickly to get our paperwork processed. Scott rushed to the jail to get the bond started, even before our paperwork had been fully completed, to try to meet the midnight cutoff. Unfortunately, the jail stopped accepting bonds for the night before midnight, before Scott even got there, and there was nothing they could do. However, our paperwork got approved, and I was assured that bail will be posted as soon as the jail begins accepting bonds in the morning. They worked out a payment arrangement that we could afford, kept everything simple, and were extremely, extremely helpful. Aladdin's office was stuffy and intimidating, and it made me feel the need to put on a button-up shirt before walking in just to look more professional. At Bad Boys, the atmosphere was completely different--comfortable and understanding of what people are going through when someone you care about is behind bars. We were all laughing and joking and smiling together, and I felt like I could be my real, honest self. This wasn't just "not bad for a Bail Bonds place", they truly turned a bad couple of days into a great night, and myself and the defendant's brother walked away smiling and glad to have worked with such kind, awesome people. There service is good except when you need a refund back there service sucks they lagged on it per contact state 5-10 business day so if you expecting your money back back rapidly sit down and wait because it "s not happening. I dont think they have multiple refunds waiting for them to process they just lagged on it becuase to processes a refund only take 5 minutes I been waiting for a week now and call she said it will be done by wednesday there just holding your money because they want , when they could process the refund immediately only takes 5 minutes.
