Really though, we bought at least a dozen incredible pieces plus accessories and they delivered the furniture the next day. We found truly unique, high quality pieces ranging from a full dining set, bedroom set, bookcase, and more PLUS beautiful hardcover antique books and artwork. We were able to accomplish so much within a short amount of time that could have taken us months and months. I was thrilled to have furnished our house with items from our past while incorporating decor and pieces true to this area as well. Since the first visit, we have been back several times and always find way more than expected. It is hard not to buy everything. Reasonable prices and quality items - lots of variety. Customer service is wonderful and the owner Kevin always interacts with his customers no matter if you're an old friend or your first time in.

After double checking my items/cost and having her take off for the credit for the extra shirt, I asked how she is still getting the total because it was still higher than what it should be, and she immediately became loud and hysterical. She started claiming that the jean jacket along with the 2 other jackets (i had now put back) were considered "sports/formal wear" so it's $6.99 each instead of the usual jacket price $5.29. The price for a goodwill jacket is 5.29 on all goodwill websites and price lists at the store. And there was nothing fancy or formal about this jacket, its just blue denim with buttons, no logos, no fringes, nothing. It doesn't even feel like real denim, its thinner and doesnt feel textured and feels cheap. And it's shrunk in general, the bottom edge on the back is shriveled up/shrunk. I found the jacket in question is originally from Walmart. She realized I was confused on how she is categorizing the clothes/since this jean jacket looked nothing like formal or sports wear to me, and given that there's no price tags, I wanted to make sure we were on the same page. She screamed saying she is grabbing the manager (tall blonde white man), who I saw had been friendly with this same cashier earlier, when they were both slowly hand-counting all the cash in the register right in front of me while I was waiting in front of them to be rung up. He finally came over and said after a minute "yeah its a sports jacket." I didn't get how a cheap jean jacket was a sports jacket, but I asked to see where it says "sports jackets are 6.99" on the price list, and there was no answer from either of them and cashier goes loudly and angrily, "Do you want it?" It sucks i look young for my age but she was just so belligerent and rude,// belligerently rude. And what's crazy is the manager was going along with it. By this time the entire store was silent/staring, including the line behind me. Finally she screamed that it's not on the price list and she just knows that's the price. 6.99 for the jean jacket aka "sports/formal wear". Mind you the manager was just standing there the whole time looking at me red-faced not doing anything during this entire interaction. I bought the jacket* for $6.99, but feel terrible. It's not about the money, but more about them making up prices with no price tags on the items and then how the cashier screams at you while the manager stares at you. And I would never wear this to a formal event or to do sports. ??? Overall, I wonder if it's even worth it to shop at a Goodwill like this vs. just going to the sales section in the actual store instead. At least clothing stores would have set prices and brand new clothes. Will never go back here. I was trying to send business to local businesses since we live in Wake Forest so I was hoping to send business here. Today while running errands, I stopped in and asked how to make an appointment for consignment. She looked me up and down and said they don't take just anyone's clothes and tossed a four page pamphlet at me with a list of clothes they don't want, designers they don't want, and how to properly clean and present cloths to them. The whole thing seemed very harsh and abrasive. When I told her what items I had she was like "well I'm booked until June so you can try back then." I was floored. The store is extremely dated looking despite the requirement for "in style" fashions. I will not be back to shop or consign here. I do not recommend them whatsoever.

Between a choice of going to the mall or coming to Next, Next wins every time! My husband appreciates that and I get so many compliments. I am so big on customer service and I love the way that they greet me at the door and makes me feel like I am shopping at a high end department store and that "boutiquish" feel while shopping. The quality of their clothing is great and you can tell they take great thought and care in the clothes, shoes, handbags, and jewelry they consign. I also appreciate the diversity of styles as well, something for all sizes, shapes, colors, and price ranges. The pricing is very good in comparison to the quality of the clothing! However, everything else was bland and not much to choose from. We were a little disappointed by the selection (or lack there of) of books. I will say that I found a cute bear lamp for $4.99 so I had to get it. I was looking for some outrageous clothes to put on my front seat passenger (Leonardo da Skeleton) for the upcoming months. I found a black leather jacket for his costume for October ($4.xx), a brown plaid shirt for November ($2.xx), a hideous jacket with zebras and flowers for spring ($4.xx), and a stupid ugly Christmas sweater ($4.xx).
