One of my very good friends has been coming to Kit for quite a while. Her hair always looks beautiful and perfectly styled so I was excited when she gave me a referral to try someone new. With Covid19 here to stay it seems, Kit greeted me at the door fully masked and promptly gave me some hand sanitizer. We were both in masks the entire time for safety. Thank you Kit! We then entered her cute salon and went to work on my hair. Her salon is small and inviting. A little challenging to find as it is not located on the street but further back in the plaza. This is my second cut and this time we did color too. Kit takes the time to really discuss what you are looking for and she will also give you great guidance when choosing your style and cut. She is patient but precise in her cuts and only wants you to look your best! She gave me some great advice as with my color I now wash my hair in cold water only. I have done this before when camping but now do it in the shower. My hair loves it and it responds better when I style it! I went short this time which I love and Kit gave me a fantastic cut! Excellent service and personalized care! I wanted to go platinum and try something new and I was recommended to Kit and the rest is history. The first treatment took several hours and got me to a great place colorwise, but upset my scalp. The following appointments we cut the time down and increased the visits from every 6 weeks to ever 4 weeks and and now I'm in, out, and feelin fresh! This is also made possible by her charging an hourly rate which includes cut, color, hair treatments, and take-home. The first round of color seemed pricey but the follow-ups and maintenance is actually really cheap and saves me money. Also, her being a small, personalized salon and wearing and requiring masks and keeping the place clean and spotless means I don't have to worry about Covid in here, which is a mega plus. Amazing! First of all, Kit takes all precautions to make you feel safe during these times we are living in. I hadn't gone to get a haircut/color in over a year, so finding somewhere like this was a great relief. It's a private room as well, so I really loved that feeling of space that you usually don't get in a salon. After being exposed to disrespectful customer service at The first salon I went to (see review for hair experts plus) I was hesitant to choose another salon, but I am so glad I decided to go here instead. She spent time with me to decide which color would best suit my needs and mixed up a custom batch of exactly what I wanted! In case, you are in fear of catching the COVID19, the place is clean and she makes sure you have a mask on and you sanitizer your hands prior to entering. First of all, let me tell you that I have long hair, near my butt and have been trying to find the person who would cut my hair the way I want, but haven't been successful. I've tried JCpenny, Walmart and other haircut places and was not happy with them, they even messed up my hair. Finally, Ms. Kit was the ONE, after all the long search. She did my hair the way I've always longed for. She took her time and made sure I was happy with her performance. I am very pleased with her and my hair. She used some chemicals on my hair and I fell in love with it. I highly recommend her to anyone. I am coming back to do my hair color once I figure out what schedule works best for the two of us.
