If nothing else, I hope this is the only review you'll need to come here. For reference, before I came here my stylist would do my money peice. We would do a double bleach process, using olaplex to protect from breakage, no heat, followed by a 1:1 ratio of Matrix SPV toner and clear to get a white hair streak (think Sabrina Carpenter blonde). Out of the blue she decides to do a career change and now I'm on the hunt for a new hair stylist. Every stylist I would sit with, I'd tell them the process and products and they would agree to the service. Every time the day of our appointment came around, without fail they would say, "I'm not doing a double process I need to protect the integrity of your hair" and every single time I would leave the salon with dark yellow banding and gray toner in an attempt to cool it down and hide it. My dark Latina hair is stubborn af so a double process was always necessary. They also would use heat, something I did not want to use, with one stylist breaking my hair so bad that I had about 1 inch of hair sticking up on the front of my hair. I went 4 months slicking it down into a bun or hiding it under hairbands. I had soo many consultations (one guy was late an hour and a half to our consultation which pmo) trying to get someone to listen to me and just do what I was asking. Now let me tell you about Casie at Salon Rose. She not only listened, she delivered. Every time I asked to try a different toner combo (since they didnt use the Matrix brand) she was down for. She NEVER argued with me, talked down to me about a process I used on my hair for 2+ years, she was ALWAYS down to try new toners, and delivered on that second process (using my k18 of course to avoid breakage). On top of that, she makes the effort to talk to her boss/coworkers for advice to help me get where I wanted to be. And I respect that because she wasn't pretending like she always had the answers, and made sure I went home with what I asked for. Plus it was great seeing the teamwork environment of the salon. The biggest takeaway from my experience here is, not only do I get what I'm asking for, but I'm being listened to and validated. Having reached out to and spoke to about 8 stylists before coming here, it is such a relief finally being in a place where I'm validated. I was visiting family in Las Vegas and booked a last-minute appointment at Salon Rose for what was clearly confirmed in writing as "Base/Full Highlights" with Anne Norton. I selected a full head of highlights through their online booking system. When I arrived, I was informed that at this salon a "full head" consists of only 30 foils total. At the end of the consultation, Maya explained that if I wanted fuller blonde coverage, I should have booked a separate "Full Blonding" appointment instead. To be clear, I do not mind paying for quality work or premium pricing. The issue is not the cost -- it is calling 30 foils a "full head" of highlights. I have been getting highlights for years and have never encountered a salon that defines 30 foils as full coverage, especially for medium to thick hair. That number is typically considered a partial highlight at most salons. Because I was genuinely confused, I had my assistant contact 10 other salons in the Las Vegas and Henderson area to ask how they define a full head of highlights. Not one defined a full head as 30 foils. The consistent response was that 30 foils would be considered partial highlights, and a true full head involves significantly more coverage. I do want to note that the stylist who was scheduled to perform my service was not rude. However, the interaction became uncomfortable when another staff member spoke loudly about the situation in front of her own client. That felt unprofessional. The salon itself has a very neon pink, basic interior. It is not a luxury salon environment, which made the pricing structure and upsell approach feel even more surprising. What adds to the confusion is that while "Full Blonding" is listed as an option in their booking system, there is no description explaining how it differs from "Full Highlights." There is no breakdown of foil count or coverage level, so a client has no way of understanding that 30 foils is what they consider "full." If a salon chooses to structure services differently, that is completely fine -- but it should be clearly explained at booking. Clients selecting "Full Highlights" reasonably expect full coverage. I would strongly recommend clarifying foil count and service differences before scheduling here. read more

I made an appointment for my daughter to get her curly haircut. I was recommended a specific stylist. My daughter said her name was Cassy. She was going for a trim to get rid of split ends and was not looking to change the style other than to add some layers. What my daughter thought she was getting about an inch cut ended up being 3 inches chopped off of her hair. My daughter is a performer and her image from head to toe is to portray a particular style and what she came home with destroyed that image. Needless to say, she was in tears when her hair finally dried to see that she lost 3 inches of length. The stylist Cassy never asked her whether she liked it or not. I guess she thinks she knows better. My daughter will not be returning if this is the treatment she is going to get. I doubt this review will even get a response from this place as they have ignored my daughter completely. read more

Service: updo for my daughter for junior prom. Marian was very friendly but unfortunately my daughter's hair started to fall down after less than an hour. I hadn't even done her makeup yet. I tried my best to pin it up with pins I had at home but it just wasn't secure enough and completely fell out during prom. It was really unacceptable. Luckily, my daughter didn't cry over it. I think I was more upset about it than she was. Price: $70 plus tip for hair that lasted 45 minutes. Time: estimated 1-2 hours for an updo but only took about 50 minutes. First off, the vibe here is super cute!! As soon as I checked in, Jose at the front desk kindly informed me that the stylist I originally booked with had called out and asked if I'd be comfortable seeing Jessica instead. Since it was my first time at the salon, I decided to go with the flow and agreed. Jessica was sweet, and though she's still building her professional experience, her dedication was wonderful to see. She regularly consulted with Rose (who I later found out is the owner!) for guidance throughout the process. Because of this, my appointment took quite a bit longer than expected--I was there from 10:00 AM to about 3:30 PM--but I wasn't the least bit upset. I completely understood that Jessica might have been nervous, and I deeply appreciated her commitment to getting my hair exactly right rather than rushing through it. What blew me away was the teamwork. The level of patience Rose showed while mentoring Jessica--all while servicing her own clients--was absolutely amazing. The camaraderie among the whole staff was beautiful to witness. (Also, Madison, their content creator, was there that day and she is a whole vibe!) Overall, I highly recommend this salon. Guys, I have never had my hair cut at a professional salon before. I decided to pick Salon Rose because they had pretty good reviews and their pictures looked great. I booked with Mya and she was fabulous. I booked a women's haircut. I usually get super nervous with this kind of stuff but she was so kind and listened and even helped me decide what would be best for the style I wanted. She took her time and was super gentle. I really really loved the outcome of my hair and I couldn't be happier. She is definitely an amazing stylist and knew what she was doing. The salon was clean, bright and had a great look to it. I've been seeing Leah for nearly a year now, and I can honestly say she's a hair genius! After moving here, I tried six different salons looking for someone who could give me a nice, natural blonde--and apparently, that's harder than it looks! My hair would always end up purple, muddy gray, or plain white. Leah just knows what she's doing. My hair has never looked better--super natural, lovely blonde every time. And her hair washes? OMG. She doesn't spray water in your eyes or ears, she's incredibly gentle, and that scalp massage will have you drifting off to sleep. I did not have any problem finding parking. Thank you Makenzie for doing an awesome perm and low fade on my son. The whole process took about an hour and a half. Since it was his first perm Makenzie explained the timing and entire process. My son knew exactly what he wanted and she was able to deliver and keep him happy at the same time. I love the Rose decor and pink throughout the salon. The whole place is very clean including the customer bathroom. They offer coffee and water to the guests. There is a small waiting area. So this is the 2nd I go this Salon. Unfortunately it's not for me. The 1st, they cut my hair short. I have loose curly hair so I just wanted a trim. When your is wet and it's pulled of course it gonna seem longer so the stylist cut off more that I requested. I only noticed it when I got home since I prefer to let it air dry. So I'm always the type to give a 2nd chance. This time my hair short and I wanted a clean up. They stylist seemed like she didn't know how to use the clippers. She used them from left to right instead of how I've always seen ppl use the clippers which is up and down giving a soft and more blended look. I should have know something was wrong when the 2 other stylist look and when they say what she was doing their eye were wide. Then she started cutting the top which was fine. Again I like my hair to air dry. Once I got home ... hair is lob sided. One side def looks shorter then the other. The side around the ear what not cleaned up... I ended up rounding up my sides. And the back of my hair feels like the tips are burned. My hair is virgin hair, it's growing and it been soft until now. And for the price, needles to say. There won't be a third time read more

This review is based on my personal experience and is nothing against the shop. I booked Ryan online after a friend's recommendation. When I arrived, I was told the appointment was only for a $10 test strand, which I did not realize when booking. I understand testing is needed for previously dyed hair, but I drove 40 minutes across town just to find out it wasn't the actual service and had to rebook. At my next appointment, they explained that bleach is charged per bowl. I would have appreciated a clearer estimate upfront. I understand my hair is long, but as a client I want to know roughly how much I should expect to spend & not have the final price depend on how many bowls are used during the process. During the service, Ryan was very rough while brushing my bleached hair, and I could see noticeable hair breakage on the brush. The final result was also not what I asked for. Instead of getting lighter, my hair ended up looking darker. At checkout, I paid close to $600 including tip. As a Vegas native, this is the most I've ever paid for a hair service. It felt like the process may require multiple return visits and additional bowls, which can quickly increase the total cost. Since product is mixed in the back, clients also can't really see how much is being used. I respect that every salon has its own pricing structure, but clearer communication about expectations, realistic results, and total cost would have made a big difference especially for clients driving far or working within a budget. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet my expectations. If you are on a strict budget and not prepared to spend at least $600, this may not be the right place for you. read more

When it's suggested by the front desk person that there is a curly girl person here and you get all excited to go and meet Marianne, but come to find out that she doesn't really know that much about curly hair even though she has curly hair and instead of getting a real curly haircut I got more of a chopped job and layers that I didn't ask for. I don't feel she listened to what I really wanted even though I had a consult first so in that case, I would not recommend her to do curly hair. The products that they use ie Innersense has rosemary in it and I never had a problem with that before but after leaving the salon because a couple of times that I went there I had a problem with it so I'm thinking it's something with the actual shampoo and conditioner because it was never a problem before. For people who have allergies, rosemary is not something you want to be putting on your scalp and this salon does not let you use your own products you have to use theirs and they really push for you to buy their products. read more
