When I walked in at approximately 10pm on March 24th, one Overweight female employee was sitting in the vestibule area between the inside and outside door. The second employee that was working that shift was a blonde female who was walking out and sat down next to the other employee... Since I was in a hurry I turned around and asked if anybody was on register and the blonde one said sarcastically "no we're closed.". I wasn't amused so I said "let's go I'm in a hurry." The blonde came in with an attitude and I swiped my card and started walking out the door. She shouted at me that I needed to finish paying. I guess you have to hit OK when the card reader asks you if the amount is correct. I walked back and hit enter and told her that all I needed to do was push enter and to calm down. She looked at me and pointed at the door and at the top of her lungs screamed "get out of my store. ". I told her I was coming to see her boss tomorrow and that should be lucky if she still has a job and That they had a lot of nerve sitting on their butts when a customer was in the store. The first employee who was sitting in the vestibule stood up and approached me and screamed as loud as she could that she's off the f*cking clock...She told me they can refuse service To whomever they want and for me to get out of their store. They continued to scream at me as I was telling them I was going to contact the owner tomorrow. I don't know who owns this gas station but I hope he gets this review. You really don't need people like that working at your gas station and screaming a customers because customers want them to get up and help them rather than sit down outside of the store.

The gas is priced fairly so I'd say if you're in the area to go up the steese then make this your spot to fill up because you will be in and out for a good value.

Every time they get a crew of friendly employees that will smile and not act like you are bothering…read morethem, when you walk in. Management gets rid of them! Now they have staff that makes you feel like you are interrupting them and that they don't have to smile or acknowledge you! They can't figure out how to correct mistakes, and the 2 or 3 managers are always BS'ing about the weekend or their personal life! If Fred Meyers wasn't always so busy we wouldn't use holiday, I get in and get out and I never expect a smile or a hello! if you have the time, go the extra block to get Good customer service!

I like that the gas pumps are well lit and there's lots of room in the parking lot. Inside is also bright, clean, and welcoming. I've always had pleasant encounters with the cashiers, they take time to chat, and smile back. The beer/wine/liquor side is just as big as Oaken Keg and has an amazing selection! Our favorite beer is often on sale here for a better price than Safeway. As I've driven past time and time again I've noticed that Ester Gas keeps decent hours, even on holidays. I also saw them offer free coffee to early morning commuters once on their marquee. Wow how thoughtful. Thank you for making life more convenient for us all :)
