We were reimbursed after calling. Then we opted to pay 50% of our costs up front, but were charged 100%. When calling to ask, we were told "most people just pay 100%" without offer to reimburse the 50%. We asked for a call/text before coming to mark off area for our dog, but no call/text was received for first treatment. After calling to remind about a call/text next time, was told "There's always that one customer that things go wrong for". Then, second treatment was done WITHOUT CALL OR TEXT. Called again, was told same thing ("We'll make a note and take care of it") Then we finally received a text about an upcoming service. Waited two days, no service. Called and asked when service was coming, and was told they already did it - one week before the text was received! Figured, "Hey after multiple mess-ups, maybe they would remember to give an alert before the final treatment." Nope. Third treatment was done without any notification. When calling, we were always asked if we were a Grounds Crew customer or from some other company. The fact that they merged companies is no excuse for horrible organization and communication. Will never use again. Waste of $150. Will do it myself next year.

A brief online request for service from Tidy Trim was quickly returned with a call from the owner, who promptly went by the house to survey the site, called back with an exceptionally fair quote, and graciously worked us into her schedule the following morning. The next day, she showed up fifteen minutes early and got everything taken care of lickety-split! The owner is incredibly kind, personable, and professional; a great welcome committee to Milwaukee! Mother Nature seems to have a mind of her own. So when she decided to whip some crazy weather…read morethrough the Milwaukee area- cracking branches off of mature trees that landed on the roofs of a couple of my properties- I knew it was time to take some action. Enter in Dennis and Son Tree Service. They called me back promptly- I explained the work that I needed done (defensive action against the trees on one roof- and offensive action toward future Mother Nature outbursts by clearing some trees away from the house at another location) Matt (would this be the son of Dennis and son?) told me he'd have an estimate to me later that same day and true to his word it arrived via fax.
