I'm a new client here, and Bae's did not disappoint. Scheduling was very easy with confirmation the day before to ensure you'll be there for your appointment. The ladies at the front desk were friendly and kept the place clean and sparkly. Kim did an amazing job on my facial making my skin well hydrated, smooth, and tight. I also got a couple of skin tags removed, which start at $10 depending on how small or large they are. Numbing cream is given prior to the service and Kim walked me through the process as we went. During the facial, I was also offered leg compressions while I laid down. It felt great! The facility also has skin care products for sale, which I have on hand, so it's nice to know I'm using a recommended product. Came here with my friend for facials and some self-care. I got the basic facial and spot treatment. It was kind of difficult to get ahold of them initially; we finally got a text message back saying they didn't have availability for our original date but we were able to book for the following week. When we showed up we were warmly greeted and prompty taken into the treatment rooms. I wish they put us in the same room, because it turned out there was a second treatment area in my room which another guest was started there near the end of my treatment. My facial started with cleaning my face, then a hot towel treatment followed by steam treatment and face massage. They also have these leg massagers which inflate and deflate after they zip your legs into them. I kind of wish she told me which serums she was using but also I was kind of glad to lay back and relax, and trust in her process. I have had prior facials elsewhere where they had told me every product used in an effort to upsell me. Then came the blackhead extractions and more creams, then the cooling mask and final hot towel, more serums and sunscreen. My face felt rejuvenated! My spot treatment was for a tiny mole on my upper back. They first applied numbing cream then zapped it at the end of my procedure. Very quick and it stung for only a short while, like she said. I have been going to Bae's since last year due to the fact that I bought myself the package facial deal (10 - one hour facials). Price has definitely gone up since then but service has consistently been great. Regarding their services, I have tried their: BASIC FACIAL (60 minutes), which includes facial massage, extraction, waxing - you could opt out of this, and a cold mask (this makes me fall asleep). They also roll this cold instrument on your face at the end of the session. Additionally, they have a leg massager. It feels amazing, especially if your leg hurts. SPOT REMOVAL (specifically skin tags for me) which was included in my package. I inherited a bunch, and when I mean a bunch, i mean, alot of skin tags on my face so wearing make up made the bumps more pronounced on my face. They basically laser (burn) them off. Each zap is quick but it hurts a ton, especially if they are burning a large number on your face. They do provide numbing cream. I'm sure it helped a lot. I did three sessions (and they did this closer to the end of the facial), and each time, I kept thinking that this wasn't worth it. Ohhh BUT it is, once the scars fall off. My skin looks way better than it was a year ago. It is worth it after the pain. Will I do it again? Definitely. After all, pain is beauty. AQUA FACIAL (90 minutes) This includes the basic facial plus using an aqua machine that pulls out dirt and oil. I've tried it once. It's a very interesting feeling, to say the least. It didn't hurt but it wasn't relaxing either, at least for me. I will be returning to try it again though. My face felt much cleaner after this session. Keep in mind that their facility isn't the most fanciest. You won't have your own room. Each client's space is partitioneded off by a wall BUT you still feel like you have your privacy. They've renovated since I first stepped foot there. I'll continue to recommend this place to friends. I'm looking forward to trying their other services for sure. read more

I am so happy that i decided to try out this place. They offer a lot of services like facials, microneedling, eyelish extensions, and much more. And they have a lot of skincare items for sale at a pretty decent price. I feel like they do a much better job than many of the American facial places that feel a little "too" relaxing with just eh results. This place is pretty affordable with facials starting at $65. The facial goes like this: - they cleanse your skin - exfoliate skin (sometimes not if i dont need it) - wax brows and lip (its complimentary but you can ask them not to if you dont want it) - steam and massage face, neck, and shoulders - extraction - use a modeling mask depending on your skin condition and skin type - add skincare - seal everything in with a cold machine They also put your legs inside of a leg massager which is a nice touch. My favourite part of the facial is the massage, extraction, and cold thing at the end (especially in summer). Ive also tried the chemical peel which was super awesome! If you get this service then you should be prepared for your skin to peel anywhere up to 10 days but the results leave you with smooth, even, glowing skin. Another service ive tried is lasering the spots on my face. The dark dots on my face near my eye are caused from when i was taking hormonal birth control, since i stopped birth control i wanted to make the spots go away but wasnt sure how. Someone else was getting their spots lasered off and so i asked about the service and ended up doing it on my next visit. It wasnt as painful as i expected because they used numbing cream on me. It was very fast and i could smell my skin burning (which was kind of cool lol). Now my spots are almost completely faded! It was soo worth it. I used to go once a month but due to lifestyle sacrifices i am going to start going as the seasons change (i absolutely wont give up going forever!!!) I bought the microneedling package which includes 3 microneedling sessions and 4 facials for around $700+ which seems to be a good deal. Overall, clean and professional service, very kind and knowledgeable ladies at work here! I really had high hopes to get rid of my acne, whiteheads, and enlarged pores. I want to say this package have helped a lot but have not cleared my issues, which realistically will take a lot of maintenance and changes in diet and lifestyle. Worth a try, as the science behind microneedling to induce new collagen production is accurate. Results will depend on how well your skin reacts and turnover. Caution: my skin is super sensitive and sometimes the chemical that they use to peel can be very potent/harsh at times. Such a great experience! Today was my 1st time trying out Bae's Skin Care. I booked a basic facial for $65. You can also book over text/online which made it super convenient. The place was adorable and the staff was very friendly. I arrived 15 min early & was taken to my area within 10 min. Kim worked with me from start to finish & was extremely informative & made sure to tell me what she was doing before starting. The facial included 1) a cleanse and scrub, 2) examination of skin, 3) facial/neck massage (with serums and oils), 4) extraction, 5) eye/face mask and then ended w/ice roller, serum, moisturizer and sunscreen. Wow, a stand alone Korean skin care, make up, and facial massage business! Bummed I didn't find this place sooner so I could get a facial. Shop owner was just charming, informative and generous with samples and detailed explanation on what it was for and how to use. They have Tony Moly, Missha, but appear to specialize in O Hui and very high end skin care that I have not run across on line. Ms. Bae has enviable skin, by the way, so I am going to get a facial when I visit the parents again. Searching for Korean skin care products should not be so hard on South Tacoma Way where the scene is all things Korea. Been going here on and off for over a year. I started coming here even before they were even popular. Now they have really picked up business and sometimes feel they overbook to accommodate cancellations. I often arrive on time for my facials, only to have to wait sometimes 10 minutes to get seen. Can be annoying but I don't mind the wait bc I like the facials here. Everyone is great, and I love the facials so much. I usually see Kim, once a month or try to go every 6 to 8 weeks for a facial/treatment. My skin has definitely improved so much, and I rarely break out anymore! Definitely more affordable than any other spa out there. What sets them apart is the fact that they use Korean skincare products, which I am a huge fan of. They tailor the products used on you depending on your skin type and skin issues. I've tried their regular facial, advanced aging facial, microneedling w/ chemical peels, laser removal of spots, aqua peel facial. All are so worth it. I highly recommend their microneedling and aquapeel facials the most. Those 2 are my favorite, and really made a difference to my skin. One thing I do notice is that they try to push their packages, which is more affordable than buying them individually. You need to make 2 payment installments when purchasing a package. On a case by case basis, they may allow you to break the payments up in 3 or 4 payments. I don't know about you, but I don't normally have $500 to $800 to pay at once or even pay broken into 2 payments. It's just not in my budget at all. I would need more time to save. But if you are looking to get regular facials once a month, I highly suggest you get the package deal, as it's a real savings. The other thing I wish they had was a point reward system. Since coming here, I have referred 5 of my good friends to come here and all of them have bought a package. I wish I could have gotten a discount or something for referring many of my friends, but I wasn't offered anything even when I asked. I will continue to refer my friends here, but it's kind of sad they don't offer a points for rewards or discounts, since a lot of other places do offer this.
