Looked in the mirror one day and realized ya girl's brows needed HELP. I had a full day of errands though, and trying to make it up to my usual place in Kent was gonna throw a wrench in the day. I opened up my Yelp app and found this place pretty close and decided to give it a try based off reviews. The location is convenient, as it's pretty close to Tacoma Mall and in a parking lot with other businesses, so lots of parking. Walked in and there were a few others waiting, but I still got in and out in matter of 10 minutes. You have to sign a quick check-in sheet and then you're seen. The woman I had was quick, shaped my brows really well, and it was one of the most painless threading experiences I've had. I didn't get tinting done here because it's pretty expensive compared to my normal spot, but if I was a little more desperate I would shell out the extra money. All in all a good experience and glad to have this place close by when I'm in a pinch! read more

I found this business on Groupon and was super impressed. I wouldnt have bought the deal if they werent highly rated on here. I ended up getting covid and had to reschedule my original appointment. Normally there is a fee for rescheduling but they were gracious and did not charge me. I really appreciated this small, women run business and am so happy to continue supporting them. I'm kinda being nice with this review with 2 star So I was doing fine with relaxing until she starts talking and not paying attention and pokes my eye lid real hard!! So I jumped! Then my eyes was moving under the lids because I was uncomfortable and she did it again! So my lashes are not placed correctly and is odd lengths.. and the worst part is my eyes won't stop feeling irritated and scratchy!! especially on one side where she put them to low so they hang into my eye ball!! I've never had this problem with the normally lash lady I go too.. but she was out of town.. I think I am going to have to get them removed after paying 149.00 because the severe itching and swelling I'm sorry but I will not be going back again!! read more

I'm going to tell you the facts- and you decide if you want to come here. They're fast, but also extremely busy. Everyone is friendly, but it's not a luxurious/relaxing experience. I got eyelash extensions and she finished in record time. They use cheap products, so the eyelashes don't wear well, and they look plastic and fake. But you get what you pay for. She did do a really good job applying, and I like that it only took about 45 minutes. My eyebrows looked incredible, she waxed/threaded/and trimmed them for only I think $10 or $12? Again, so fast!! If you're looking for a reasonably priced wax, specifically a Brazilian then I highly recommend Baljit here! I've been putting off getting my first Brazilian for months now as I've worried about the pain but I saw the great reviews and prices and figured I'd call to see their availability. They were able to get me in right away so I headed straight there as I tried to mentally prepare for agonizing pain. Once I got there, I was promptly greeted and taken back to the waxing room where I got to have my worries reassured by Baljit's kindness and confidence to be done in "5 minutes tops". Amazing service and fabulous kindness on the part of the two women in the shop. I booked this Groupon because it was a fabulous deal and I called today and they got me in same day which is for a job so well done. The place was calm and relaxing and the women worked together on my lashes, checking to make sure I was comfortable. I also love that their door locks until buzzed in, because when you have anxiety and have to keep your eyes closed for a long time it just helps you feel safer. I have never had to write such a negative review before after 5* years of writing reviews on Yelp. I'm not someone who complains often or involves much maintenance. But enough is enough. Today was the last straw. I have been going to this salon for about 4 months. I originally started with just lash lift. I liked it a lot. The issues with this experience was the first time I asked for just the lift not the tint. But they put the tint on. I have black lashes. It didn't do anything. However during that long process I was never told how long it would take. Someone was giving her instructions literally while she was putting chemicals and various things on my eyes for this process. That was so unprofessional and scary. These chemicals can do serious and long term damage to my eyes and lashes. I was left in the public area with my eyes forced shut for over an hour. There were people and children coming and going right next to me. I didn't know what was happening near me or what was going on. I didn't know how much longer this would take. This was my first time ever getting a lash lift. I was so anxious having my eyes literally shut closed like this. They did not charge me for the tint fee though. Since I had never done this process and had my eyes shut the whole time I didn't know what was happening. I went again a month later. It went much better and no accidental adding tint. I then started going for Brazilian wax. Only problem was every time I went they always asked if I was new... after months of going for 3 different services they still always asked if I was new. The prices for this service were very good. It didn't take more than 5 min. I don't have any major concerns with this service. I was suggested to try lash extensions next. I have been getting lash extensions done on and off for 6/7 years. I only went to one lash technician. Since I moved to Tacoma I've been looking for a new place so I tried this one. They had great deals and the photos looked fine. The first experience was average. The work was fine. I was happy enough for the price. But like anytime I would go to this salon they were always too busy to talk to me, to build rapport, or give me real attention. Even so the prices and work seemed fine enough. But then their customer service continued to be really poor and borderline rude. I was not comfortable any time I got my lashes done. The table/ chair thing was super uncomfortable. The area is not private. You hear noises of the customers the entire time. You hear all the employees talking in their native tongue, hear all the customers talking, and hear all the customers come and go like every 5 min. Jassi would come and go from working on your lashes almost the entire time. She's so busy and understaffed that she was constantly needed from everyone. With my eyes shut closed with tape I never knew when she left or was coming back. I only went for 2 fills but she never really talked to me. She would just ask how I am then go back to speaking in her native tongue, or be helping the other employees, on the phone speaking in her native tongue, or helping other clients. I also noticed Jassi would only talk to certain clients. When my lashes were being dried once she said one sentence to me for 45min but she was talking to the next appt next to me about a ton of personal things and talking the whole time. She never tried to converse with me. But today was the worst experience... I waited 20 min for my schedule appt. When it's my turn I lay down and she sets things up. Then the entire 10 min of her working on my fill she is talking in her native tongue to a co worker and on the phone. I am not exaggerating. 10 min later she was done. She didn't say anything she just handed me a fan while she was still on the phone. She literally spent 10 min on my lash fill. I looked at my phone for the time finished. I cannot believe that happened. Then while my lashes were drying to went to the next client. I finished drying my lashes 5-7min later. Paid and left. I cannot believe I paid for 10 min of service for $70.00. I am super bad at confronting someone for bad service. I try to be understanding. But this was too much. My friends said I shouldn't have paid. But I'm never done that before. Because I've never gotten such a terrible job done on a service. My lashes look like they barely got filled. But how much work can you really do in 10 min? Overall my 4 months of coming here for lash lift, Brazilian wax & lash extensions I never once felt welcomed. Never felt like I was a valued customer. Never felt comfortable here. All the terrible experiences and poor customer service finally reached the breaking point. I'm never coming back. I would not recommend this place. read more

These ladies are awesome! All right, first time here. I told them that I previously had lash extensions a few years ago and I just missed having them. I showed up right when they opened so I was the first person there. Yay for no wait! They got to work and the whole process took roughly an hour. On to the lashes. They. Are. Beautiful. Definitely one of the most gorgeous lashes I've ever had. I used to get my lashes done at a nail salon in Renton, and it was fun as I continued doing it for 2 years. This experience was better--these two ladies were kind and obviously experienced. One lady was bragging to me about how she was good at doing lashes, and oh, she is RIGHT! Talented ladies! The lady did an eye lash lift. She didn't even ask me if I wanted the tint. Which I did not yet at the end she charged me for a lift and a tint. Also whatever they used infected my eye and when she took the rod off she pulled out a chunk of my lashes on the other eye. Since I'm in the area for a month, it was time to get my eyebrows and upper lips done today. Didn't have to make an appointment, just walked in and was seen within ten minutes. I only gave them one star because they do good Brazilians and they have good prices. DO NOT go there for eyelash extensions if you have short lashes. You literally need long beautiful lashes beforehand. They don't care if you are un happy. When they tried to remove them some lady who wasn't even trained tried to remove them and the solution stung my eyes and hurt so bad I jumped up. Their service is awful. I walked out so upset i cried. Even my friend who had been in the service industry for 40 yrs was upset how they spoke to me. I finally went in to the shop after reading a few YELP reviews of how amazing these women were. I had just moved to Tacoma, WA and had no idea where to get my eyebrows done or my Brazilian wax. I get my Brazilian done in California because I constantly go back and I only trusted her to do it. From when I first walked in I got greeted and asked what I needed. I was so scared because when I was in Florida the lady just thinned out my eyebrows so bad I cried. She kept asking ME how I wanted it and would show me what she was doing and if this was okay with ME. She was so attentive and wanted to make sure that what she was doing is what I wanted. From that moment on I was hooked. This is the place where I go for my eyebrow threading and now my Brazilian wax. I used to reallly really like this place. Unfortunately when I came here a month back the lady who did my threading on my upper lip was so rough she took a patch of my skin off. It got super irritated and I had to put anti bacterial cream on it and it was itchy as heck. I figured since I still had my membership card I would come back and just do my eyebrows. My fault for being cheap lol I should've just tossed the card. The lady who did my eyebrows today finished in less than two minutes. The threads they use are horrible quality because it broke after she did one side and it hurts more than usual. I asked her to trim them and she proceeded to put cooling gel and said I was done. I can't recommend this place to anyone after my two previous experiences. They don't really care to do a good job since you've already paid for the membership package. Called in yesterday for a hybrid full set and they were able to get me in before closing. The lady who started doing my lashes was very nice, once she was done she had to head out. As I was going to go pay another lady who worked there stopped to take a look at my lashes and noticed it needed some touching up, so she sat me back down for another 10 mins to make sure my lashes were perfect. I really appreciated she went out of her way to make sure the lashes were secured and that I was going home with the style I had requested. I would not recommend this place. They do not provide services with care. I have been blamed for my lash tech glueing my natural lashes together awkwardly, having my lashes cut and pulled. I have been over charged for lashes when I was told one price but had to pay another. I have been blamed for the fake lashes being the wrong length.
