Not the best customer service. The Doctors are great, however to book an appt wth them takes weeks. The nurses there are so rude.

Heads up for individuals considering Dr. Kim:…read more Dr. Kim is a great doctor. I feel he has the passion and the compassion to help his patients in every way possible. He explains conditions and lab results in ways it's easy for the patient to understand. And when you need a form filled out, he and his staff are there to help out. The only downside is, they charge fees now. Most of the nurses and staff are kind. They make sure you are on time for your appointments and they make the effort to make you feel you are valued. However, I feel quality patient care needs to improved whether in person or via tele-visits. As a patient, you feel less validated and feel you are just annoyance when a particular nurse talks over the patient, makes invalid suggestions for referrals, ignores a patient who walked-in (w/o appointment) for over an hour, and emphasizes the patient was late for the appointment when they give you an appointment card that says Time A, and their appointment text says Time B, and the appointment time the staff claims the patient made is Time C. These are just few of the things to look out for, from personal experience. Best wishes to fellow patients visiting Dr. Kim.

I recommend DO NOT VISIT this doctor's office. I am formally…read moreexposing and condemning this office's unacceptable actions. *Hospital Visit Due to High Blood Pressure: - I had been experiencing a heavy head in the mornings, so I checked my blood pressure, which was 155/87 despite taking medication. - I called the clinic office and booked the earliest available appointment at 10:15 AM. - Before my visit, I ate half a sweet potato and drank a cup of coffee. * Hospital Visit & Consultation: - Upon arrival, my blood pressure and weight were measured (doctor noted a 5-pound weight gain). - I asked to doctor, I had half a sweet potato and half a cup of coffee about an hour ago. Since I'm already at the hospital today, can I still get a blood test? After checking my chart, the doctor confirmed that it was fine to proceed. * Blood Test Denial & Conflict: - When I went to the blood test room, the receptionist suddenly refused to proceed with the test. - If I request a blood test while I am at the hospital, is it not allowed? Even the doctor said OK? -Hanna ((the receptionist)said, the Reasons given: "Walk-in patients cannot get a blood test." "Eating sweet potato and drinking coffee may affect the accuracy of the results." - When I argued that the doctor had checked my chart and approved the test, the staff took me to a separate room and spoke in an authoritative and condescending manner. - The receptionist told me to go to Urgent Care if I wanted a sudden blood test. - They even said I don't have to come to their hospital anymore. - I was extremely uncomfortable with the staff's rude attitude and demanded an apology. *Apology Call & Further Dispute: - About an hour later, another hospital staff member called to apologize on behalf of the receptionist. I insisted that the receptionist(Hanna) should apologize directly. - Later, Hanna called but: - Instead of a sincere apology, she repeated the reasons why they refused the test. - She added that their hospital has a limited number of blood test kits per day and that walk-in patients cannot get a test. - She also gave new reasons: "Since you are pre-diabetic, eating sweet potato and drinking coffee may affect the accuracy of the test." "Since your blood pressure is high, drawing blood suddenly is not advisable." However, the doctor never mentioned anything about pre-diabetes or these concerns during my visit. When I asked, "Then was the doctor wrong?" she was unable to answer. Frustrated with the situation, I expressed my dissatisfaction again and ended the call. What do you think?

This review is long overdue, but necessary. I recently went…read morethrough my old medical files from 2015, and everything I went through with this doctor came flooding back. I was a healthy, active woman in my early 40s -- working out four times a week, eating clean, and living a balanced lifestyle. Out of nowhere, I began passing out, having heart palpitations, chest pressure, and extreme fatigue. I was in and out of the ER repeatedly for years, scared and confused, and no one could figure out what was wrong. Each time, the emergency doctors ran tests and told me to follow up with my primary doctor, Dr. Abraham Golbari. I did exactly that. But instead of compassion, concern, or real investigation, I got dismissal, arrogance, and negligence. He brushed me off repeatedly, refused to run the proper tests, and told me to "stop working out as much." For clarity -- I wasn't overdoing anything. I did normal aerobic exercise like walking or jogging one to three miles, and light weights. I wasn't on steroids or pushing beyond my limits. I was just trying to stay healthy. His physician assistant (PA) at the time -- and I'll never forget her because she was amazing -- was the only one who truly listened to me. She said, "You're too young and healthy for this. Something's wrong." She went above and beyond to get the right lab forms, contacted another office, and sent me to Quest Diagnostics for blood work. That's when the truth finally came out -- I had lupus. Negligent and Dismissive -- Please Read Before Choosing This Doctor The PA personally called me in to share the results because she was leaving his office for the same reason many others probably have: his lack of care, concern, and professionalism. Even after I received the lupus diagnosis, Dr. Golbari minimized it. He told me I'd be "fine" and just to "go see a rheumatologist." No empathy. No support. No acknowledgment that after years of suffering and uncertainty, I finally had an answer. When I asked him for an application for a temporary handicap placard -- because lupus and heart palpitations made it difficult to walk or stand for long -- he flat-out refused to give me one. He said "nothing's wrong with you." His PA quietly handed me the application on her last day before she left his office, because she knew I truly needed it. I regret not filing a formal complaint with the Medical Board of California back then. What he did wasn't even just a misdiagnosis -- he didn't diagnose me at all. He showed no interest, no urgency, and no humanity. If it hadn't been for that PA taking the initiative to run the right tests, I don't know how long I would have gone on suffering, or if I would have survived. Dr. Golbari graduated from the National University of Iran Faculty of Medicine (listed on his California license). While I believe there are many excellent international doctors, his complete disregard for my symptoms, lack of bedside manner, and refusal to act were inexcusable. Below are links to verify his license and also to check if there have been any lawsuits or filings against him. If this reaches even one person before they experience what I went through, then sharing this was worth it. Please advocate for yourself and don't let anyone dismiss your pain. He's not the warmest doc, but I don't go to make a friend. You go to get answers and get better. I'm surprised by all the thin-skinned negative reviews. I'm satisfied, recommend and thank him and his staff for great care.
