My wife and I went there recently. We both ordered pancakes. Plain for my wife and Blueberry for me. First of all, my pancakes were not blueberry, they had few berries thrown on the top. The staff person informed me that "For it is blueberry pancakes". Pancakes did not come with any sides, no butter, no maple syrup, no jam, nothing. WE had to ask for everything. And they would only give us one item, had to keep asking again and again. And though pancakes tasted fine. Typical restaurant pancakes, everything else was absolutely not acceptable. Interesting experience. The lady taking my order had headphones in and I could barely hear her talking. I ordered bagels to go and a coffee. When handed the bagels I did not get a coffee cup. I grabbed one behind counter and then couldn't find a lid later grabbed it myself from behind the counter. I asked for my bagel not toasted and it was toasted. Came here for a Too Good to Go and loved it. Staff is so nice. Bagels are amazing. One of the best I've had. Tried the everything, egg and sesame. So good. We tried the potato salad it is very different from other potato salads I've had. It's very fresh and really delicious. Lots of veggies inside. Also the tuna salad is also delicious. The cinnamon rolls are really good too. We were lucky enough to have been served by a fabulous team. Tyrese Benjamin luis and Yves Marie were so nice and friendly. We will definitely be back. We need this in Orlando This is a franchised location opening up in Miami. Their bagels have dough shipped in from NY so it's more than Brooklyn water. I liked that the onions/everything season was all over and not just on the top. Such good bagels - surprising for florida! Bagels were fluffy on the inside and crunchy on the outside. They are absolutely covered with toppings - everything bagel was delicious. The lox spread had chunks of lox which was delicious as well. Based off reading the menu I assume they are kosher - they don't serve pork products but not disappointed. Would come back! read more

UPDATE: Decided to try them one more time to see if they were just having an off day, this time I went with a much simpler order of just a few bagels and 2 orders cream cheese. Order arrived without the cream cheese, no refund or explanation given, now I have to waste my time trying to argue with Uber eats because their incompetence. Bagels still taste like pretty much any other bagel you'll find, nothing special regarding texture or taste at all, they're a little larger than the average bagel but that's about it. I also noticed this place is originally from NY/NJ. I used to live in NYC and NJ so I know a good bagel when I see one; unfortunately, bagel boss doesn't live up to its name. If you're looking to throw your money away on mediocre bagels, don't order from them online, you'll never get everything you ordered. read more

We were so happy to finally have the chance to support our new locally owned bagel shop. The place was basically empty. We ordered, took a seat, and waited. And waited. While a couple of other customers came, ordered, and were given their coffees quickly while they waited, I approached the counter to see if we could get our coffees while we wait. I continued to wait at the counter but the coffees never materialized. I sat back down because my presence seemed to be making them busy themselves with other things. After several more minutes, I approached the staff and was handed two cold double espressos. When we finally got our meals - they were perfectly fine. Near the end of our meal we realized we were missing a bagel with butter. I approached the counter and requested it. This is where the experience went sideways and the reason I am writing this review. A manager came over with the bagel and began to push back and argue with me. He seemed to be annoyed that we were "impatient." The joke of it came when he claimed to give us free butter with the bagel when we were charged for it when we ordered. Like he was doing us a big favor and we were ungrateful. Food gets a B. Service gets an F. Be better Bagel Boss. We want to see you succeed! read more

Awful place. While we were there some kids were allowed to throw food on the floor, ride their scooter in the restaurant, scream. Mother sat there doing nothing. Staff did nothing. Wanted cream or half/half for our coffee. Not available. Only 1% which is disgusting. Didn't stick around for bagel order. The food is good. But like I ordered ahead 20 min prior to arrival and it wasn't even close to being ready. The service was sooo slow. Looked like the workers didn't know what was going on. Bagels were as good as Long Island BB, unfortunately staff was beyond rude. Extra charge for lettuce & tomato on tuna, no Cole slaw, no pickle. Paid for 2 coffees with lunch. Regular coffee urn was empty, dark roast was cold. Told staff an he said he would replace it. After waiting 10 mins it was not replaced. I told lady at the register and instead of apologizing she said in an annoyed tone, "so give me your cup". I did, she dumped out the cold coffee and went to a machine. You can call me names or point if you must, but when I say I want extra cream cheese, I mean EXTRA. As in "cry for help" extra. These guys came through, with a beautifully tender, highly onionized bagel that really does fulfill the promise of "New York taste with Miami Beach vibe." There was even a super cute dog in the restaurant when I attended with my two daughters, who were equally pleased, even though one of them UAT'ed a rainbow bagel, to my chagrin. This was awful. None of the bagels were toasted, the cream cheeses (jalapeño and everything were tasteless, the ($18) salmon bagel sandwich came with nothing - no cream cheese, no tomato, nothing. The pancakes were like dried-up cakes. With so many top of the line bagel shops coming to town these last few months, I suggest Bagel Boss step up! read more

I finally went to this BB today at 2:30pm (3/4/25) as I have passed it many times, but never stopped. I went in, and there was no line, but many patrons sitting at tables. A woman (you know who you are) assisted me and I said I wanted some bagels to go. She asked what would you like, I said 4 ET, 4 Plain, 2 Cinnamon Raisin bagels. I haven ever seen someone touch a comouter screen so much for that order of 10 bagels. I said that seems expensive, but I guess its not. She said I could just get a dozen and it would cost the same $19.75. So I said, OK. She said, I gave you 6 plain and blah blah blah. I said that not what I asked for (while pressing more keys on the PC). I see the price going from $25.++ to $35++. Then she tells me to stop giving her an attitude (which I was 100% NOT)! At that point I asked who is the owner, and she told me the price of my bagels. I asked again, who is the owner, and again she said the price of the bagels, again and again. The most OBNOXIOUS employee I have encountered in a loooong time. RUDE RUDE RUDE - So I guess the customer is not always right in this establishment! If you were my employee, you would no longer be employed in my establishment for speaking that way to a customer! If you are the owner, and just wouldn't tell me that you were, then shame on you. If you are not the owner, then I hope you reply to my review, as I have read replies that you have left for others.
