I conveyed my disappointment and asked for another cake, but they had no other fresh cake. They offered a frozen one, but it would take 6 hours to thaw out, and I needed it for consumption in about 2 hours after I picked it up, so that was not an option. We asked if they would give us a discount, but they refused. I still kept it because I was in charge of the cake and needed to bring something. The way it was handled was completely unacceptable. It was humiliating to present, especially since this is a specialty cake and not some homemade box cake. Their customer service is definitely lacking. Given the circumstances, I believe I was entitled to some kind of compensation for the inconvenience and disappointment caused. Just wanted others to know the terrible experience I had.

She said they had called"me" in the morning and because "I" didn't answer the phone so they had cancelled my order! They are lying!!! First of all, I don't know who they called because I didn't receive any call at all! ( I showed her my call history and she couldn't find their number). Secondly, I have a voice mail and no message had left me. If they really called me they could leave a message to tell me that my order was cancelled. But nothing! When I spoke to the manager,he told me I need to call their store back on Monday to ensure they had processed the refund! It's look like that's all my fault! They took my money, cancelled my order without any notice! Now I'm responsible to make sure I will get the refund! When they cancelled my order why they didn't issue me a refund at the same time?!
