Worst experience on this lovely vacation. Waited an hour for a bagel sandwich that never came, despite asking multiple times when it would be ready. Waited so long that the ice in our to go drinks melted and the condensation eroded the cardboard carrier. No one seemed to be in charge and the workers were obviously bothered by my requests for the food I had paid for. Finally left for my own emotional well being. Never again. read more

Coffee is just ok. You are given a cup and sent to pump pots. Not sure how long coffee is brewed before reaching customer. 3 stars for organic (fair trade) option even though it was just ok. Ps - it was approximately 100 degrees up in there... I felt so bad for the workers. read more

Delicious bagels. Egg and cheese on a sesame bagel was the perfect start to my day. Brought the breakfast to the beach. Ate my bagel while staring at the ocean. It was nice and chewy with tons of sesame seeds. read more

Great bagel shop in the heart of Cape May. The place has solid bagels, reasonably priced, and a friendly staff, especially the owner who goes out of his way for customers. They are pretty fast as well, so don't get discouraged if there's a line out the door. Best bang for your buck is the kids meal. read more

I come on weekday mornings when it's not crowded and bring my order to eat on the beach. I always order the same thing: toasted onion bagel with cream cheese and an iced coffee. The bagel is delicious and they put tons of cream cheese on, just how I like it. The iced coffee is just okay. They have better coffee and more options down the street at Coffee Tyme but they're pricier and in the busier section of town. I'd rather not make 2 stops before the beach so I just get it here. Good enough for me. The service is typical of Cape May food places.... young workers who don't really care about their job but they're always nice to me! No complaints here. The bagels are good but they were out of quite a few spreads and bagels even early on in the morning! Didn't have an effect on my order, but other people in my group had to resort to their next choices. Also there is no air flow, so waiting inside in the line was brutally hot. read more

If you don't want to make cappuccinos take them off the menu. It's a hassle every year at this place. Don't know why we keep giving you a chance. Waited 10 minutes and not one of the 5 people working even bothered to approach the machine to make our order. No thank you from the girl who took our money. If found this small friendly, cheerful place across from the beach. Multiple varieties of bagels which made for a delicious quick breakfast. I had the every thing bagel with cream cheese. This was a very welcoming reprieve from the rudeness, poor attitude, and inappropriately dress (for a sit down restaurant) by a person I believe was the hostess. After being spoken to very loudly and rudely in the middle of dining room by this staff one staff member at hemingway's restaurant, I left and found this upbeat fun place that was excellent and a bargain. read more

Ok so here is the deal, their sandwiches have to be one of the best I have ever had. Bagels are fresh and the toppings they add are just as fresh. Now I will say they are a little pricey compared to sandwich at Wawa or Dunkin but they gourmet and worth it. We came here for our last breakfast in Cape May - we were looking for something quick and easy. Bagels are hard to rate being from NYC - I've had a lot of bagels, and can be a bagel snob. The 3 stars is not for the bagels... it's for the spread and the burnt coffee. First, I have to say... it was mobbed at 7:30am - get there early. Outdoor seating is limited and the line was rather long, but it moved. The cashier was really friendly, and I almost feel bad giving it 3 stars because she was so nice... but I have to. I ordered a Asiago bagel toasted with spinach artichoke spread - bagel was good, spread had NO flavor. My girlfriend ordered an everything bagel with regular cream cheese - she enjoyed what she got. We both ordered iced coffee - the coffee was burnt and had about 4 ice cubes in each... which was annoying because it was room temp. There was no skim milk out, and when we asked for skim the lady near the coffee area in back seemed annoyed. Everyone around us seemed to enjoy what they were having, and the lunch menu seemed good. May give it another shot next time we are in town, next summer because the cashier was so nice, and maybe the lunch is better. My spread lacked flavor, and the coffee sucked which is why they get 3 stars. read more

Another good breakfast option for people wanting to get away from their hotels and want to stay within a stone's throw of the beach. They offer a great, standard breakfast, or bagels to go, and the breakfast selection is cost-effective for a large family. They got two things wrong with my order which were immediately corrected and their people are polite and attentive. Worth one trip per vacation to "grab and go." read more

Great bagels. Very tasty. Stopped by for breakfast and the front patio was crowded. We're weren't sure we'd be able to sit and eat. We went inside to order and they were very attentive. Got a table outside and the food was delivered in a few minutes. Highly recommended. And they deliver to your hotel if you feel like staying in! read more

Very happy my husband and I walked here on our first morning in Cape May. I ordered egg and cheese on plain bagel; he had egg/cheese/sausage on sesame. Took a few minutes for the order to come out, but we were extremely satisfied. If we stayed in Cape May for a longer period of time, this would definitely be a regular spot of mine. Went here for an untoasted egg bagel with veggie cream cheese. It cost $4.25, which is ridiculous, but I thought with the reviews it had it must be the best bagels. I got my bagel and it was toasted, even tho when she called it out to me she said untoasted, so she pretty much lied. It was so dry, I am pretty sure it was from the day before. The worst bagel I have ever had. And I'm not even that picky. Save your money and go somewhere else. read more

They didn't have several things in the kitchen especially white bread. I end up getting grilled cheese on sourdough bread and it was very good. Gave you like 2-4 slices of cheese. Yummy. read more
