On Sunday , June 7, 2026, I ordered breakfast for pick up by phone at 8.15 am. I was told that it would be ready in 15 minutes! I showed up to the restaurant at at 8.31! I paid the cashier and I was told to go to the back and show my receipt number to the servers! When I did this, I was told by one of the servers to wait until my number was called! I sat down and waited for another 15-20 minutes while walk-in customers were served! At this point I was ready to lose it totally! Desperate for attention, I asked one of the servers if my order was ready! He asked me for my number! When I gave him my number for the second time, he turned around and picked up my package from the table behind him-WHERE IT HAD BEEN SITTING ALL THE TIME! When I looked inside the bag, my apple juice was missing! I inquired about it and was told to go get it from the fridge at the front! By now I was totally and utterly disgusted and livid with rage and hunger! However, I held myself in check, took my package and left! When I opened the package in our room at the hotel, in it were two soggy, sorry looking bagels, completely overstuffed with cream cheese and jelly oozing out from all sides! I won't even mention the price of the little bottle of apple juice! What a horrible experience! What a terrible restaurant! What poor service! NEVER AGAIN read more

Worst bagel iv ever had. It's more of a roll not a bagel. Very expensive 18$ for 2 bagels with Taylor ham egg and cheese is crazy. The bagel is super thin. The flavor on the Taylor ham and eggs were good tho. They don't put ketchup salt and pepper on it for you so you have to do it yourself. Service was fast. Plenty of seating inside. If your from North Jersey stay away your not going to like the bagels, go to a diner. read more

I was excited to try the new bagel spot that opened on the 5 mile island and had the opportunity today. Unfortunately, the bagels fell short and I would liken them to a supermarket bagel aka roll with a hole and came with the leanest layer of cream cheese I've ever seen at a bagel shop. The place itself was nice, new, and clean and is connected to a liquor store so I guess you can grab some alcohol and bagels as a one stop destination. They had a small selection of flavored cream cheeses covered in plastic wrap behind the counter in really small quantities. Orders are placed at the cashier and then you wait for it to come out from a counter with a kitchen behind it. The cook places the order on the counter and rings a bell, then they call out your number. They were efficient as 3 bagels were ready in minutes. We ordered the bagels lightly toasted because judging by the looks of them they weren't going to be steaming fresh traditional boiled bagels and we were right. In my opinion a great bagel should never need toasting but perhaps I'm just a NY bagel snob :). read more

Island Bagels is a pretty new establishment that opened just this month. So far they made a pretty good first impression on me. I'm usually not one to care about decor but I loved it. The murals and the interior have some nice personality. It's a casual dining place to get breakfast and lunch. Pretty fast too, perfect for a quick bite. Their menu consists of breakfast staples like pancakes, breakfast sandwiches, and bagels. Interestingly, they also serve some cocktails too. Not a drinker so I didn't give a taste but it was available when I went over there at 10:00 in the morning. I ordered the Garden Omelette with tater tots. It came out pretty quickly and it was pretty delicious. The omelette was cooked to perfection and had nice fresh veggies in them. The portion size was pretty decent so I don't think you'll leave hungry. Of course like the name suggests, they have lots of bagels available. There's a good variety of bagels and spreads to choose from. I liked what I saw and tasted today. I think I'm definitely going to become a regular here and am looking forward to trying out their range of bagels and spreads. read more

I love this place. One morning, I went to order and told the cashier I am deaf, so she helped me ordered by showing me the cup sizes I wanted. I told her I won't be able to hear when the order will be ready. She said no problem. When the order was ready the the owner's sister in law brought the order to me. I was impressed and touch by their service. The cashier was such a sweetheart. The staff were professional and respectful. This place is so clean, the service is quick. I'm going to start this review with the context that I drove for two hours to get to Wildwood where this location was. The drive was not exclusively for this place and I explored a lot of other fun places, like the boardwalk. I am not kidding when I say that this place might have been the highlight of my trip. Great bagels, great coffee, pretty good service, and a good experience in general. The place itself felt quality and it delivered. I would definitely recommend this place. read more

This place has great coffee and excellent breakfast. The garden omelet came with mushrooms, tomatoes , red onions and spinach. They serve it with 2 slices toast and 2 hash brown patties- deep fried. Omelet was tasty and served quickly. $12.50 Bacon and Egg sandwich was standard issue, nothing special but good at $8.50 Only annoying thing is the half and half is in those little cups and they had them in ice water making them difficult to peel the water logged lids back. The milk and skim is in a bulk pourer container as the 1/2 & 1/2 should be. This place is a good breakfast stop and we will return. read more

We got bagels for breakfast and they were very good. Cream cheese options galore and plenty of bagel options. The service was fast and friendly. We got breakfast sandwiches as well which were a decent size but the eggs were flavorless. Stick with the bagel with a fun cream cheese option and you won't be disappointed. Rude staff. Asked for ice because they serve you the orange juice warm. One woman stared blankly at me while she turned around and the other one said "for what?" The food is also mediocre with no consistency. Two of us ordered the same thing and the eggs were totally different (no, we didn't order them differently). One was heavily runny and one was the opposite. Also, they give you unseasoned guac some instead of avocado when you ask for avocado. The staff seem miserable. read more

First I will say that this place is very cute decor wise. It also has quite a few tables available for you to enjoy your breakfast there. I also liked the idea of being able to order a simple mimosa w your breakfast. The system they had was efficient to a degree. I ordered two loose bagels and it took 15minutes for them to be given to me. There were people who ordered breakfast sandwiches that got their food before me. I would recommend a better system for them for figure how to just get loose bagels to people it would definitely lessen the crowd. Finally the quality of the bagel is just okay. I am visiting Wildwood from out of state. I heard good things about Island Bagels and stopped to get some coffee and hot tea. The cashiers and front of house were extremely nice and polite. The restaurant was clean and inviting. HOWEVER - I ordered a hot tea and when I poured the milk into it, it was spoiled. The milk came out chunky with a noticeable odor. The separated milk settled on the tea bag and was clearly visible. When I told the employee this, the were confused as to what I wanted. I had to explain to multiple employees that the milk was bad and that I wanted a new cup of tea. One of the employees, who I am assuming was a manager but I am not sure, said "the milk can't be bad - we just filled it". She was incredibly rude to me - why would I lie about spoiled milk? They eventually replaced my tea with fresh one and opened a new milk right in front of me. This visit to Island Bagel will be my last. It left me feeling like I did something wrong for speaking up and not drinking spoiled milk. The employees gave off the impression that I was trying to pull one over on them. I walked out of there upset due to my treatment here. Never again. read more

Stopped in here twice during my mini vacation in Wildwood. It's super close to the boardwalk. Very clean and spacious inside. Large variety of options. I had a whole wheat bagel one day and a pumpernickel the next. Iced latte with almond milk was well made. Friendly staff. They have to go cocktails (mimosa and I think Bloody Mary) which I regretfully did not try. Bonus liquor store is attached which I also forgot about and ended up going to a different one which wasn't so great. Very happy with my experience and definitely recommend if you are looking for breakfast before the beach! read more

This is a good bagel spot and reasonably priced for being so close to the amusement pier. Cost the same amount as the bagel spots near me which is great. The bagel also tasted really good. When I come back to the area I will definitely be coming back for a quick breakfast. read more

My aunt and I waited 20 minutes in line to be thrown out. Last night we went to Schellenger's which is owned by the same people. At Schellenger's their seafood was undercooked. We were harassed, cursed at and insulted over this. Unknowingly we went into here this morning for coffee and the manager saw us and told us to get the fuck out. This is discrimination. You don't treat people this way! Learn how to work with the public and treat people nicely before getting into the food industry! read more
