We got there late on a Sunday morning and although a number of bagel flavors were out we still both got bagel breakfast sandwiches that would make your mouth water. I ended up with a jalapeño cheddar bagel with sausage, egg, and cheese and it was the perfect hangover remedy. They never open on-time, didn't give us one of the bagels ordered at take-out, and generally act like they're doing you a favor when serving you. With a name like Bagel Time I would expect really good bagels. These were not. They tasted more like a pre-packaged bagel. The service was fine and the place was clean and had nice outdoor seating. Looks super cute from the outside. Ordered a simple egg bagel with veggie cream cheese NOT toasted. How long could that possibly take? After a few minutes I see them toasting a few bagels, assuming they aren't mine. A few minutes later they call out "egg bagel, veggie cream cheese not toasted". This was my first time visiting Cape May, and my breakfast at Bagel Time was one of my favorite parts! My friends and I shared a large combination of items including an egg white and avocado wrap, pancakes, fresh orange juice, bagels with cream cheese, and a bagel with Nutella and banana! I stopped here with my boyfriend before heading back home. We ordered BLTs with cheese on bagels. That was on Sunday...it's now Tuesday and I am STILL dreaming about the perfectly cooked bacon. The owner was there cooking that day. He is not shy with his portions! I will definitely be back. I apologize for not taking a picture, I wish I did. This place is way overpriced. The staff can't take your order without asking multiple times and still getting it wrong. We asked for a wheat everything bagel with bacon and tomato. We received a plain bagel with bacon and barely any cream cheese. It was a special order, but they charged us for their most expensive egg sandwich with meat, which makes no sense. BTC has the best bagels in the Wildwoods, they're huge, they have a ton of different kinds, and they're always fresh. They have a variety of cream cheese flavors that are all really good. The Oreo flavor is amazing, or if you want savory instead of sweet, there's a scallion flavor.
