I go to Bagels N More pretty often for breakfast. They have delicious fresh bagels and an awesome variety of toppings to choose from. They also sell homemade dolma and baklava, both of which are super delicious! They also have several fridges of all kinds of drinks. You can find many snacks and sides to complete your meal as well. The owner is a very nice man and always friendly. I went here for lunch the other day and enjoyed the Avocado Delight bagel sandwich. It was really good! This is definitely my favorite place to get bagels in town. I'm craving one just writing this! Try this place out! read more

Legitimately great breakfast sandwiches and bagels at a great price. I highly recommend them.

They are open for breakfast from 7 AM to 2 PM daily. The price range is from about three $3-8 dollars depending on what you get. I'll list some of my favorites with the price. Lox bagel is $ 8.00 that one is my absolute go to! But my close second is the omelette bagel it is &7.00. If I happen to go at lunch time I have a couple favorites then as well. It's simple, decently priced, and good patient service. The guy at the front was good about answering questions. I also liked the small town feel. We had paid after which was kinda nice. A little hole in the wall spot for bagels next to a laundromat. The bagels themselves are somewhat small but having spreads that are made in house is pretty nice. I'd say from time to time Noah's end up around that size as well so the size isn't all that bad. I had an omelette bagel made with turkey and an Asiago cheese bagel. My compatriot had an Asiago cheese bagel with jalapeño cream cheese. My bagel was freshly toasted, nice n crunchy. Good clean flavors, and the stuff in the middle seemed freshly made aside from the turkey of course. That, that was just lunch meat haha. The spread on the other bagel was good, the amount of spice from the jalapeño wasn't overbearing at all. It was laid on pretty thick tho. I wonder if the amount could be adjusted beforehand or possibly get the spread on the side. A side note tho, they don't have falafel. It's on the glass in the front but apparently the guy doesn't make it anymore. Sadness. I always gotta try falafel when I see it so I had high hopes. When we had went in around 11, the bagels were extremely limited so I'd suggest getting in earlier if you're in need of specific types of bagels. I can imagine that things go quickly in the morning. I'm a big fan of old school service. I grew up in a small town, so despite a few different shortcomings in other areas that is definitely the part that shines. read more

A bagel sandwich while getting my laundry done next door at the laundromat? Don't mind if I do. Too bad it was a horribly disappointing bagel sandwich. I ordered a breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel, and the everything was sad and devoid of flavor, only having seeds on a small part of the bagel. Unacceptable. The sandwich also included the smallest quantities of meat my boyfriend has ever seen. (The lack of meat didn't bother me as much. It was primarily the lack of flavor in the bagel that let me down.) I really wanted to like this place, but it's yet another Modesto eatery that puts out mediocre food at premium prices and expects people to come back. No thanks. Bagel was ok, attitude was nasty. I didn't know you had to ask for a specific bagel for any sandwich. I go to a bunch of bagel spots and they always asked you first. So when i saw them pull up the bread i asked for a different bread. The owner, i assume, said "oh now you ask huh" and walked away. They didnt even make the sandwich yet lol and his comment was so out of the blue. I don't think I'll be back, his attitude is bad. I recommend donut basket though. Not only are the sandwiches here great the bagels are amazing with a sweet couple that run at Rocky and Gigi, who always bring their a game greet their customers with a smile. If you go there often (and you will, the homemade salads and sandwiches are great) they will remember what your favorite order is I don't know how they remember everyone's orders but they do! There are often homemade pastries flaky baklava or chocolate croissants on the countertop in addition to standard fair like muffins and bear claws. They will make a custom sandwiches on request (egg bacon cheese bagel with hummus for example, weird but I love it) They have a hot chicken cheese jalapeño Panini that's really wonderful. I highly recommend this establishment I've been going here for years and really like it. My only complaint is that they close early on weekday afternoons about an hour before I get off work I wish I could get in there slightly earlier! read more

This bagelry was friendly as far as customer service goes, but I wasn't very impressed with the layout of the restaurant or the food. The bathroom was closed (out of order sign was hung handwritten), the trash cans looked like something one might have in their room or office (small and plastic-one of them was just a cardboard box). The reason I came here was to compare the lox bagel at Bagels N More to Posh Bagel (which to my understanding, is the only other bagelry that makes lox bagel sandwiches in Modesto). I left underwhelmed and a bit disgusted by the lox bagel I was given as it did not have the same taste or texture as Posh Bagel and one of the pieces of my lox was brown. The lox tasted fishy, which those of you who understand fish freshness, know that that is a red flag. I won't be returning. read more
